Great place to play good staff, we had really good pace but some guys in front started playing slow let us pass them but other than that it was awesome

Great day to golf. course was in good shape. Pace is ALWAYS slow 12 thru 18 : ( If the Marshall would just make rounds at 3:30 and 4:30 to check on pace of play that would help tremendously. Yesterday he waited until 5:25 to catch us on the 18th after teeing off and said pick em up and go?

This is my local course and I like it but this was the Marshall’s fault but he did blame us for not calling him to ask him to do his thing. I’ll go back to super hot afternoon tee times with nobody on the course so I can finish 18 without issues. Pace on last few holes everyone suffers including your game. This is something everyone talks about at this course but nobody does anything about it : /

That said this course is good with 1 major issue. Hope this helps everyone.

great course , great staff , great pace of play for a sunday afternoon.4.20 pace ....in pretty good condition except some greens were a bit bumpy ..great value

I booked on Golf now and I had my email receipt showing I paid for two players,but on the course computer it only showed one paid but the gentleman at the front desk saw my reservation that I paid for two and was very good to go ahead and give us the teatime with two paid Thank you

We enjoyed the course pace of play was good. The course has some tricky holes, but fun to play…

My 2 friends checked in before me and were charged $68 - even though the round was booked at $50 on golf now. They explained that to the older employee checking them in and he refused to honor it. I checked in and he pled ignorance stating - that’s what comes up when I check you in. He only gave me the rate after I showed him the reservation details.

No way I would have played that course for 68 dollars at twilight when plenty of other courses were available.

Same older employee was extremely rude and hassled us to finish our round even though we were playing our last hole and were on pace to return our carts by the 5:20 deadline.

Overall pretty nice course. The conditions were nice not the best but not the worst. I would say 14/18 holes were in great condition the rest could use some love on the fairways. You can tell they are trying to improve the holes.

I’ve been playing the Rancho California Golf Course for 40 years. It’s been through some challenges since the glory days when it was owned by the SCGA. I’m happy to say it seems to be moving in the right direction. Course was in solid condition from tee to green. Bunkers are excellent. Greens are firm, but still receptive and very fast. If you get above the hole you will be hard pressed to keep the ball close unless you hit the back of the cup. Great practice facility even if the range balls are in dire need of an upgrade. Green fees are pretty aggressive but that seems to be the case everywhere. Here’s hoping the course continues to maintain and improve on the current conditions.

It was very windy but great weather 70’s all day. I play here all the time as it’s down the street. If you know the course you can use the wind to your advantage. It’s very difficult to keep leaves and branches off the fairway and greens when it’s 50+ mph gusts. Newer GPS carts are nice. Course is in great shape 80% of the time with poor weather causing the other 20%. Pace is usually pretty good until hole 15 where it stacks up as gambling, drinking and being tired slow pace regularly so be prepared. Staff is great. Tom my regular starter is great.
