The Golf Club at Rancho California

This review doesn’t involve the course which is fine. The problem exists with the additional $10 cart fee. If you book a tee time as a single they will charge you an additional fee even though you paid for the cart through GN. They say the cart must be shared for no fee to be added. Unfortunately, each time (happened to me twice) they say there’s no one to share the cart with. Hence the extra fee. I noticed a threesome went out before me in my GN time slot…10 minutes early. After 5 holes I caught up to the group and spoke with the single. Sure enough he booked a single in the same hot deal time slot as mine and was charged the extra $10. He stated he had no problem with sharing a cart…

I went to this golf course assuming would be in good shape it wasn't the staff was rude they overcharged each player $10 for the card fee which we weren't supposed to pay and quite honestly I'll never play there again. I would never recommend this golf course due to the staff's rudeness. And from what I understand the staff ruined this came from the nephew of the owner of the club and there's nothing anybody can do about it because he's the nephew. I'll never play there again

overall the course was in good shape. the greend rolled out good, very receptive, you could go pin hunting.

Course has let maintenance go probably for the past 18 months. It shows. The course was green but surrounded by numerous areas either dead or so overgrown.

You get what you pay for.

Another bad experience at this place, unorganized and they want to charge you an extra $10 cart fee which they stick in their pocket. This place reminds me of Diamond valley right before they went out of business.

only 6 holes out of 18 have forward tees for senior golfers! I've complained to them and nothing has changed. My very last time playing there!!

First we were told by a female staff in the club house that we had to wait for 15 minutes b4 our tee time to check in. When 4 of us went to the 1st tee waiting for our turn (there's another group in front of us), the same staff came over and told us to leave the area and couldn't wait there. Never told when checking in where we supposed to wait and never heard of such rule. It made one feel that she thought we'd start earlier than our scheduled tee time, even though it was only about 5 or 10 minutes b4 our time and there was a group in front. Unbelievable and unprofessional!!

I have been playing this course for over 25 years.

it use to be one of the most pristine courses always in supreme condition.

since these owners have taking over, the course condition keep slipping.

what a shame to neglect this fine golf course

You will be charged an additional $10 when you book one player with a cart. The cart is very dirty and no ice chests. Besides, people are not friendly.I suggest to stay away from this course.

Greens were in great shape. Fairways are better but still a few patches of dirt. 4 hour round and always fun to play here.

Good track in decent condition. Greens were spongy and a little bumpy but overall a good round.
