The Golf Club at Rancho California

Book a hot deal, said carts were included, get to course and they say I have to share or pay $10 for my own cart. Been coming here for over 3 years, booked through golf before and I have never had this issue.

Golf now says “cart included” when you book and confirm. When the recipes comes back it says it’s “shared cart”. Since it’s already been confirmed you don’t have the option to cancel, if you don’t want to share(covid), since it’s a hot deal and they cannot be cancelled. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER PLAYING HERE AGAIN.

I paid for the hot deal thinking that my tee time and cart was paid for it wasn’t......? Sketchy people working

Thick sand covered every green.. Didn't finish game; I left.

Arrived and was directed to started on the back 9. Every putting green was covered with white sand so thick you couldn't put threw. Putting Green's had small pieces of dirt and grass from course maintenance. When I made it to my last hole a tractor was pulling a spreader spraying uneven sand . I didn't finish playing,I just left.. I have no intention on going back or recommending anyone to go here.

This course is looking great and the fairways and greens are playing great. Pace of play is perfect and never felt rushed or had to wait.

Con- The new white sand in most of the bunkers is hard to almost concrete.

All around great course for price and right down the street!

The course was in good shape. The course has a policy that if you book through golfnow you can’t take a cart to the driving range. You have to pick up the car 15 minutes before tee time. I asked them if your trying to get rid of golfnow and they said no. Why are they treating golfnow people different than non golfnow booking.

Grass has grown pace of play was good greens were friendly and so was the staff

first time playing this amazing track. The different hole layout was very cool..

The green were rolling around 11 and very true.. man they were nice.. a couple had some spots but for the most part 99.9% in good shape.

As first time players we were giving a course book which was nice,, it helped as this was a new course to me. The yearage lines on the cart paths could use a refresh but the nice big 150 yrs markers helped a LOT..

being from NC playing in the nice dry day was wonderful.. thanks for a good time.. :)

No carts available due to tournament so all reservations were delayed but started and staff were handling as best possible. Had I known there was a Saturday tournament would not have booked.

Mostly great greens, new white sand in most green-side bunkers. Slow pace of play on a Sunday.

Course was in good shape. Greens ran good. Bunkers had lots of sand.

Greens are in good shape along with most fairways. Tee boxes need a makeover..

I played at this course this past Saturday, and what a train wreck of an experience! I was a single going out at 11:45, got their an hour early to hit balls and warm up. I check in with the starter for my tee time and he tells me that I am paired up with a single where I was supposed to go out with a three some before and we didn't tee off until 11:55 am. He told me they were sent out 45 min early and no one told me. Plus the fact that we were only a twosome going to be behind all these foursomes and threesomes. Pace of play was horrible, and the staff handled the situation poorly! I talk to the course management about this issue, and they tell me that they can’t give a raincheck or anything. That tells me that they don’t care about the golfers experience, so avoid this place at all costs! One of the worst managed courses in California!

I was in LA for business and stayed through the weekend to visit my son. I kind of got a late start on getting a tee time for a Saturday. I knew it was going to be pure luck if I could get a reasonable time nearby. Luckily, I found a 9 AM tee time at this course . Read some of the GN reviews so I decided to jump on it. It was a 90 minute drive but for $65 for Trent Robert Jones sr course on the weekend, what the heck.

It is a fun, challenging track. Up and down hills cut thru a housing community. The fairways and landscaping need some love but you can tell that this course was really nice once. I played with some locals who said they the course had gone through multiple owners in

the last 5 years or so.

The greens were in great shape probably rolling above average speed. Got to drive the ball well as some holes require a precise tee shot.

I was really happy with the course. I would definitely play it again. Hopefully that next time, the course is up to its full potential.
