Just 7 miles west of downtown Riverside, Paradise Knolls Golf Club tee times will open the door to an 18-hole, par 72, course that plays 6,281 yards from the back tees, and has a slope rating of 117. Designed by Bill Wood, and opened in 1964, the course uses a combination of tree-lined fairways and greenside bunkers to create a fun, and challenging day of golf. The signature hole at Paradise Knolls is the par 3, 12th hole, which plays 230 yards from the tips, and has a green, which slopes front to back, and left to right. There is also one small lake on the course, which sits greenside of the short par 4, 5th hole. The hole plays 275 yards from the back tees, enticing players to try to drive the green, which does have a small opening between the water and a front left bunker.
Many players have made good use of their Riverside golf deals at Paradise Knolls and in addition to the great golf enjoyed their instructional programs, run by PGA Professional staff, the large practice putting green, and their 2,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for banquets, tournaments, and weddings. Comments from others following their Riverside tee times paints a nice picture of their experiences at Paradise Knolls Golf Club, finding the course fun and enjoyable.

WIND!!!!
It was one of those Santa Ana wind events and guts were upwards of 60 mph - I drove that ball and it landed in the next county! Let me tell you though - the course was well kept and it was still a blast! The staff were friendly and it was a good day of golf - of course everyday is a good day of golf!
Greens are in good shape.
Good course for a good price. Close by freeway easy to get to!!!!! Friendly staff and a cool little bar!!!
Great Value
Course was in great shape, greens and fairways are well maintained. Several short holes but also had a 240 yard par 3 which provided some challenge to the course. Otherwise, it's an easy course for beginners and high handicappers. Would play this course again.
Great Play
Course is great play, lots of fun, be back real soon!!
The smallest greens of any course I've played in years.
The course was well maintained , Fairways were really cut short which makes for a longer drive. I like the way they managed the greens plugging and sanding. Not doing the entire green but rather doing only half at a time and placing the hole in a location outside of the sanded area. That way, if you managed your shot onto the green well, you did not have to putt through the sand. Well done.
Dick, from Riverside
Good practice course.
At $25, it is priced just right. Anything over that and you're paying too much. I have heard that this course can get crowded and slow. I finished in 3 hours. 11:30 - 2:30 on a Wednesday. Its a good course to practice at. A very walkable course too. The course is maintained fairly well. Even in the high heat we've had this summer its in pretty good condition. The greens were being punched last time I played there, but Paradise does something interesting… They only punch and sand half the green at a time, so you still have a chance to shoot for a green and a pin that is putt-able. Unless you're on the sand side, then its like putting in a bunker. I think they over sanded a lot of the greens. But the fairways are green and trimmed. A little on the bumpy side if you ask me, but overall I was satisfied with the course and what I paid for it. I'll be coming back for sure.
Decent course. Back 9 is a little crowded though.
I would recommend this course if you're looking for a good "Bang for your buck".
Great for the Money
a No brainer course to play. Not a challening course but makes you feel how poor you can play some days
Old Mans Course
Fun to play but too short to be a real test for boomers. If it were tighter It would play tougher. But having super wide fairways tend to make this a very short course. Greens were ok. Staff was good. Carts ok. Great for beginners.
A very nice place for golfing.
Enjoyed the course, the fairways and the greens were nicely kept. I will be back.
great value for money
this course is good if you want to walk and enjoy golfing. its not as challenging as those on the hills but definitely you would love to putt their well maintain and undulating greens.
Suprisingly challaging
The greens where extremely fast and quite difficult.
Nice course for the Money on Weekend
Friend and I are first time play here, we feel very good, staff friendly, course is well maintained, air is fresh.
Greens were in great shape
Always a good course for the money. Easy to get on and get in a round.
Good course, fast greens
The course is great for the money and it makes you use course maintance a lot. I have not had a bad day at this course.
Forgiving Course, Good Value, But Carts Need Work
Practice putting green is nice and close to clubhouse and pro shop but realize this course has no range, so come ready to hit your driver. Most holes are pretty flat and course is fairly forgiving, meaning your errant shots will probably still play if you spray. A few sporadic tight lies but nothing to seriously fear. Greens were clipped close and putts read nicely. A little course knowledge that most everything feeds to the river and you'll be on your way to scoring well. This was the 2nd time in a row cart died on me on the back, but they are quick to respond with replacement. Not the most scenic course around but a good place to swing your sticks. Also won't wear you out near as badly as some nearby hillier courses.
Decent maintenance. Slow pace of play. Reasonable price.
The staff were friendly, and it was easy to get onto the course quickly. Pace of play on the front nine was slow but picked up on the back.
The maintenance of the tee boxes, fairways and greens was good. However, the sand traps were not turned over well and felt like trying to swing through packed dirt.
The course is fairly straight and short on the front nine. The back nine was longer and the Santa Ana winds are strong.
I'm not sure about the quality of patrons on the course. In the distance, it seemed as if there was a fight between players on another hole.
Wide Open fairways
Great Value for the money. Fairly easy course with a few challenges. Greens always kept up fairly well. One of my "Go To" courses.

Fun, reasonable, lots of waiting, good condition, setup is such that it could've been fastest round ever...with just a little attention to slowpokes course could be a oasis for scoring a guaranteed speed round
