Just 7 miles west of downtown Riverside, Paradise Knolls Golf Club tee times will open the door to an 18-hole, par 72, course that plays 6,281 yards from the back tees, and has a slope rating of 117. Designed by Bill Wood, and opened in 1964, the course uses a combination of tree-lined fairways and greenside bunkers to create a fun, and challenging day of golf. The signature hole at Paradise Knolls is the par 3, 12th hole, which plays 230 yards from the tips, and has a green, which slopes front to back, and left to right. There is also one small lake on the course, which sits greenside of the short par 4, 5th hole. The hole plays 275 yards from the back tees, enticing players to try to drive the green, which does have a small opening between the water and a front left bunker.
Many players have made good use of their Riverside golf deals at Paradise Knolls and in addition to the great golf enjoyed their instructional programs, run by PGA Professional staff, the large practice putting green, and their 2,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for banquets, tournaments, and weddings. Comments from others following their Riverside tee times paints a nice picture of their experiences at Paradise Knolls Golf Club, finding the course fun and enjoyable.

Minor problems
The sand refill bottles on #14 were all soaking wet and unusable. Man in front of me left pins on angles damaging lips of hole. Someone used WD40 on door for some reason and I opened it it just slip out of my hand. Lucky I did not hurt it
Worth the drive
I've played Paradise four time in the last few months. The greens have been stellar, but are showing wear as summer is bringing more players. The pace of play bottlenecks at the turns, so our group played the front nine twice for the last two rounds. The last round we played was our first on a weekend. Way too congested. We come out from OC to play the Corona area courses because they are worth the drive. Good value.
Overbooked
Golf course was overbooked and played extremely slow
Love this course
It's an awsome course to play. Easy but still difficult enough. Everything goes towards the river beds but it is deceiving. Overall it's a beautiful course with lots of great people who come play here
Great course for the money
Friendly local course with many straightforward holes, a few that can be a bit tricky.
Course is in great shape and the greens were rolling near perfect.
Great value
Course was in very good condition, fun and challenging greens. Deal came with lunch! Would recommend to anybody.
I love this course
The pace of play today was terrible but it happens
Slow slow slow
Over booked, 6 carts were lined up to tee off at the first hole. The front groups played very slowly, they always look for ball at the left fairway or right fairway, so the rear guys always push us play faster, but it didn't help, no gaps in the front holes even we play faster. Could not play normally as the rear guys stick at us and we had to wait at least 5 minutes to tee off at every tee box and fairway.
Always a favorite when there’s only time for 9
This is one of the few courses that offer the back 9 for play early in the AM. It’s paced so one may practice a little while playing. I was not rushed this morning.
OK Course/Rude-Clueless Staff
I’ve played this nice little neighborhood course at least 50 times over the last 35 years and it generally gives you a fun round at a reasonable cost. Yesterday my foursome teed off early and was asked to start on the back 9 due to ongoing aeration on the front nine; no problem. Upon completing the front nine we approached the clubhouse to witness at least 8 carts lined up to tee off on front nine. It looked like a small tournament. I asked the fellow at the counter why wasn’t the group at the first tee being sent off the back nine like us. He mumbled something unintelligible about the aeration and dismissed me. My cart had a deflated tire so the cart man changed carts for us and I asked him the same question; his response “You’re taking to the wrong guy.” So, we played the back nine again and had to play to two temporary greens while the staff was aerating those greens. There was no mention of the aerating before we booked either. OK it was only $24 bucks to play but come on......be consistent with your starter policy and try to hire some people who know a bit about ‘Customer Service.’
Good value
Course was in pretty good condition, greens were very hard, greens are very small. Fairly flat course, very little water challenges, sand traps were "hard," need some racking and weeding.
