Shandin Hills Golf Club

If you book outside GolfNow you get 2 meals (like a breakfast sandwich and hot dog), small bucket of balls, and I was told unlimited play, but I didn’t check that last part. Overall the course was in pretty good shape if you stayed in the fairways ( the rough wasn’t atrocious either). The greens were decent, folks obviously don’t repair their marks but they still rolled pretty quick with good lines. For the money I definitely will play this course again. The pace of play was the huge detractor, the group in front of us was so slow we jumped them on hole 6 and finished 18 by the time they got to 12. We let the cart girl know, but no change. We watched all the other 4somes stack behind and ruin the pace of play. They legitimately played a 7 hr round and there was no course marshal in sight. You gotta enforce on the weekends especially the before 9am tee times.

The course has gettable par 5s. Enjoyable downhill par 3 followed by a fun downhill par 5. Bunkers well placed that don't let you miss left or right when approaching the green. The greens are well kept.

Ok course for the price fairways are beat tee boxes where rough could of played a different course for the same price and in better shape. Took over 5 hours for 18 holes no rangers to keep pace of play also had groups of 5-6 golfers slowing play way down ended up pairing up with another twosome and playing out round because of the pace of play won’t be going back anytime soon

Upon paying for the round, I was told that the green fee included range balls and two meals. How can you beat that.

The staff was very friendly. Tee'd off on time as a single and after reaching the first green I was happy to see that it was flawless, just as the practice green was. In fact, all the greens were in great shape. The tee boxes were lightly overseeded and for the most part flat. The fairways were decent with few bare spots. I ate my free hot dog at the turn and proceeded to finish the round in 4 hours, 15 minutes.

On the back nine, be aware that it isn't the most serene place to play with all the trains going by purposely blowing the horn in your backswing. At least it seems that way. All in all, it was a good day at Shandin Hills.

Fairways poor, dirt weeds. Stater gave me a lecture when I asked if we could start 15 minutes early, since it didn’t look busy. Don’t need that lots of other are much more courteous.

good round of golf today at ShandinHills. The. fairways and greens were good. The tee areas were worn, should move the markers in different section of the tee boxes.

Information in Golf Now booking states meal included for tee times before noon. I booked through Golf Now for tee time before noon. However, clubhouse cashier who game me the cart key said meal was not included with Golf Now booking. Golf Now is this right.

We still had a good round of golf.

This course is a favorite of my friends and I. Fun course nothing too crazy. The greens right now are amazing and the fairways let that ball run. Plus, it’s the only course with all you can eat and drink food!!! Great value.

Pleasant day course in good condition greens well kept fairways fair. Course can lull u to sleep due to comfortability and that's how it can get u. I will be back time and again

Shandin is what it is. The tee boxes are generally awful with lots of dirt and very uneven. Fairways have more grass than last year, but generally uneven with patchy different types of grass. The bunkers are very uneven in consistency, some with almost no sand.

On the positive the layout is interesting and the greens are excellent, although a little slower than at other times I've played. You can usually get a good deal here so it's worth playing every now and then.

I've played this course 3 to 4 times per year over the past 20 yrs. The course unfortunately got pretty run down in the past two. To my surprise and after not playing here this year, today I found a much much Improved course. Greens are the best in the Inland Valley! YES ... the BEST! Fairway, t boxes and bunkers are now fair to good. And as always the starter/check-in gentleman is always pleasant.

The course still looks good heading into Fall. It’s always fun to play here.
