Back 9 was shut down. But they didn’t tell us till we got there. 7 some of walkers on the front 9 playing together. And only had 4 golf bags. No marshals

The employees are very nice. The greens are in great shape. The fairways need more water, but overall the course is in good shape.

I love the course but the staff was very cold. And it was overcrowded. They said the tournament was to be over by 11, but they overbooked the course on top of the tournament. Took nearly 5 hours to play with four very avid golfers.

Good condition and great pace. Tee box kinda beat. But other than that nice track for the price.

Good value course, a lot of fun holes and great layout. Fairways are not perfect but good enough, greens are really rolling well. Challenging reads in the greens , some are dead straight other look like they are but have some late action around the cup. Great value course it’s always a good time.

We played in a twosome and had one guy join us. The tee time was at 11:30 am for a Hot Deal,

The first problem is the course is to busy for starters. Is there a Marshall? Have you ver heard of a MARSHALL?

We played 16 holes and it was 4 hours already. The entire round took 5 hours. The tee boxes had NO GRASS. The fairways had DEAD GRASS. And the greens were nice and green but rolled like concrete! There was no REDEEMING factor that would bring me back.I only paid $36 for two but was pure heartache. We waited 10 minutes on every shot. The wait at number 10 was 20 minutes because there was 3 groups waiting!!!

Really should be told that the greens are healing from being punched and sanded when getting a tee time... as usual, the fairways are a bit patchy and pace was really slow today (not the usual pace)...... grapes were inconsistent (some soft sand, some hard packed)... so it was a bit of a rough go out there today.

We played 14 holes and it poured and thundered so we stopped playing but it was good golf up to that point..

The course layout has a number of good holes, especially the back nine. Despite all the recent rain the fairway conditions were scruffy, but the greens were smooth and FAST.

It appeared they had applied fertilizer so I hope the spring and summer fairways will be better.

This course was painfully slow. The fairways are embarrassing. The sand traps where full of water. The greens were good and the cart girl was hot.

Shandin Hills is a good golf outing. Not great but good for what you pay. Staff in the pro shop could have been more organized in calling groups to the tee; I was told to "tee of anytime" but there was a group on the tee that was told "tee off whenever you're ready" so this lent to some confusion. Beverage cart person was pleasant. Greens are good, fairways decent and the fringe could be more consistent. More sand in the greenside bunkers would make for more consistent shots from the bunker. I'll play Shandin Hills again.

When playing this course avoid the sand hazards, they are more like mud holes. A lot of the tee boxes are torn up with divots ? and the ground is uneven!! Give golfers a level,smooth tee box and replace the mud with sand. Still a great course for the price.

been playing at this course for about 6 yrs. The worst I've seen this course. Fairways are all dry. Bunker's were all hard. Players driving their carts all the way up to the greens causing hard surface. there needs to be some areas roped-off to protect the fairways and greens and other parts of the course.
