Shandin Hills Golf Club

We played 14 holes and it poured and thundered so we stopped playing but it was good golf up to that point..

The course layout has a number of good holes, especially the back nine. Despite all the recent rain the fairway conditions were scruffy, but the greens were smooth and FAST.

It appeared they had applied fertilizer so I hope the spring and summer fairways will be better.

This course was painfully slow. The fairways are embarrassing. The sand traps where full of water. The greens were good and the cart girl was hot.

Shandin Hills is a good golf outing. Not great but good for what you pay. Staff in the pro shop could have been more organized in calling groups to the tee; I was told to "tee of anytime" but there was a group on the tee that was told "tee off whenever you're ready" so this lent to some confusion. Beverage cart person was pleasant. Greens are good, fairways decent and the fringe could be more consistent. More sand in the greenside bunkers would make for more consistent shots from the bunker. I'll play Shandin Hills again.

When playing this course avoid the sand hazards, they are more like mud holes. A lot of the tee boxes are torn up with divots ? and the ground is uneven!! Give golfers a level,smooth tee box and replace the mud with sand. Still a great course for the price.

been playing at this course for about 6 yrs. The worst I've seen this course. Fairways are all dry. Bunker's were all hard. Players driving their carts all the way up to the greens causing hard surface. there needs to be some areas roped-off to protect the fairways and greens and other parts of the course.

Had fun today, course is always a challenge...talking on range still rummer's about back nine becoming warehouses?

This track is in the best shape in years.The greens were the best shape I have played in the whole area!!!

Great course play for the fee and includes meal ticket.

the new management has done a good job of manicuring the course. cannot complain about the value. pace of play was great on the day that I played. Hope the management will continue with some of the improvements to make this a really nice course again

Course was pretty wide open (players) so pace was outstanding... this is a good course, but tee boxes need some work and inconsistent bunkers (some muddy, some dry)... fairways in decent shape... It has a lot of different holes so its fun to play and you can get into lots of trouble here... so hit it straight!

The greens have always been fine with lousy fairways. But now the course conditions are much improved and worth a visit. No marshal and one very slow foursome that made the pace very slow.

Was advised when we arrived that everyone had a 7 a.m. start time. It was a little squirrelly but ended up working out alright. It had been a few years and I enjoyed playing it again.

The course was in better conditions than I expected. The fairways are green, greens are in good conditions, and the course presents itself well. The tee boxes needs some work but other than that the course is good. We played early and the pace of play was good. We did not have anyone behind us for a while. It was nice not to rush shots. It was a nice round of golf.

This track seems to be getting back to what it was in the years past.The work they are putting in seems to be paying off. koo
