San Dimas Canyon Golf Course

Two groups ahead of us were absolutely 2 holes behind, it took over 5 hours to play and dd not see the marshal

It might be 3rd time to play here. The pace of play is always the same here . it's really really slow. a construction was going on for more than 2 years so no restrooms but they have 2 portable toilets thoes you can see when a constructions going on. I wanted to go to restroom before tee off but soon as o get in, I just got out. It's really dirty and nasty. Other costumers were there and didn't use it either. Also one of thier employee was so rude. I wanted to mention his name but unfortunately i do t know his name. he had attitude with his customers. I brought a couple of bottled beers, and thier policy was not allowed them. Soon as he saw bottled ɓeers he almost yelled at me and ordered me to keep it in my car. But at that moment, I had sun blocks all over my hands to apply it on my face and neck. But he didn't wait for those seconds and looked at me and ordered me and saying again "you have to take the beers to your right now car while I am watching it" I showed him my hands and told him to wait but he didn't want to. I had to yell him back,it won't take it long to finish it. And other emplooyee showed up and he apologized it and offered me 2 beers. But I told hime it's OK but the other guy was being so rude. Overall, I am not going this place again ever in my life.

The course was in very good shape and the grens were softer to normal. The fairways were in good shape and overall the course was in the best condition that I can recall. As for the pace of play they need to do a better job on starting the groups as we were backed up once we got to the 4th hole. It seems that there tee times are to be bunched together and not enough spacing between groups.

I thought the course was a great value. I will play there again. I was just a little bummed that I got charged for a third person that couldn't play when the rest of our grouped showed up

Great golf course, the only reason I gave it a poor off course amenities is because club house is being remodel- it was a great club house before and I am sure it's going to be a great one after work is complete.

Play was slow, guess the place is having renovations no pro shop or restaurant.

Be careful of the pro shop employee Michael. He would fool you and try to make money from you.

I originally booked through Golf Now which showed golf fees at $58 per player. When my friend and I checked in at the Pro Shop, Michael (the fool) charged us $63 each. I told him I booked through Golf Now for $58 per player. Michael said there is nothing he could do because it’s the computer that generates the pricing depending on how busy the course is. After talking to the starter (very nice gentleman) he mentioned he believes Michael should honor the Golf Now pricing. So I came back to the Pro Shop and told Michael I should be charged $58. Again, Michael refused. I then asked for the manager and without hesitation, refunded me the difference.

During this time, we were joined by a single gentleman and after a few holes, I asked the gentleman how much he was charged by Michael at the Pro Shop and he showed me the receipt showing Michael charged him $65.

This is bad business. I am reporting this to the Better Business Bureau because it is not fair that golfers are being treated this way.

PS: the poor rating for staff friendliness is for Michael. The manager and the starter were friendly.

Good course for the price we paid, play was a good pace. Main complaint was that there were a lot of dry areas which made for thin, hard lies. Greens were in good shape, though. Yardage markers could be more visible... either stakes along the fairway or lines repainted on the cart path seeing as the carts don't have GPS.

Love this course. They keep playing area in Great Shape. Special Midweek Senior RATE at $40 with a Cart is a Great Value.
