San Dimas Canyon Golf Course

This course puts a smile on my face!

Fun, Pretty, specially on 11, 12 going around the mountain. The view on green 16 when your putting looking at mountains is great. Take it in.

I don’t write reviews normally, this course is fun to play unless it takes you 6 1/2 hours!!!!!!. Unreal to say the least. This place is in major need of a Marshall to keep people moving. When finally getting a hold of the Marshall at the course he laughed about it and said it could be worse. How!!!! No ideas what an idiot.

Tee’d off in the dark at 6:10, great pace of play being first out. Bring a lantern for first hole to find ball but all good. Course is really trying hard to make improvements all around the course from tee to green. Greens half punched but very playable and still rolled out.

Typical over packed slow play at San Dimas. 6 hour round and AERIFYING all the greens without any alerts posted.

First I must give credit to the staff. Each and every staff member is kind, helpful and professional. Best clubhouse experience in the area by far! I hate to write a bad review because they are all so great howver the pace of play issue must be addressed for me and all the other golfers who love this course.

The pace of place is the worst in the area. Sad that the pace is so bad because it completely kills the experience. I went here for my birthday and you know that exciting and nostalgic feeling you get of a golf day with the guys? That wonderful natural high feeling of being outdoors. Well that goes away fast when you get stuck waiting on the 2nd hole and realize you are going to sit and wait on each subsequent hole the rest of the afternoon. My group playing time? 5 hours and 25 minutes. Oh yeah and we couldn’t even finish the 18th hole because of darkness. Why does this always happen here? I only saw the Marshall once! What was he doing all day? This wasn’t a one time incident either. This was my 3rd time playing here. Our tee time has always been late. And we have never finished under 5 hours.

Even using GolfNow (where you can’t book more then 4 players) fivessomes are still a huge hurdle. 5 hour round. Should have been 4 hours.

Beautiful day but only got through 14 holes in 5hrs. Course was full of 5-somes or more. Very disappointing

very nice course, good layout and very friendly staff. kitchen and bar have great prices. The BIGGEST drawback is the pace of play is horrible. over 5 hours for a round is way to long. Golfers were playing from the blues and were playing far beyond their golfing capabilities !!!! Marshal is driving around, but does nothing to speed up the pace of play. Will not return because of this.

6 hour round. We were a foursome, following a 5some. Price was cheap. Staff is great

Great day playing with great players. The only problem was we waited on every hole. I am not sure where bottleneck was but you should never have to ride or walk up to the tee box before the group before have all tee off. The round ended bad because waiting is the sure fire way to kill my tempo with mental fatigue. It was not exactly the weekend being it was a Friday. I am not sure but I understand why people leave the game based on rounds like this one.

Course and online need to get in the same page. Double bookings. Course is great when it’s a smooth play. Recommended if they sort out the delay!

Course can challenge you, but is fair.

Pace was terrible....too many 5-somes and slow players.

Tee time was 10am......maybe earlier is better?

Took an hours to play the first two holes, pace improved after that but my group was only able to get 15 holes in before the sun set (our tee time was at 12:05)

Probably my last time playing this course. I played here about 5 times already and always delayed. We didn't tee off until 30 mins later. They always over booked this course and that's why it's super slow.
