San Dimas Canyon Golf Course

First off, golf now did not know or did not notify us before buying the round that the greens had been punched.

They do allow 5somes and we played behind one for a 6 hour round. Staff was unfriendly and they didn't seem to care about the 6 hour pace. We saw the cart girl 2 times in that 6 hours. I will never play here again

I booked a tee time for 1:24pm via golfnow. I get there, come to find out they booked my tee time later. It wasn't that much behind. Front 9 took about 3 hours plus.. ridiculous. Mind you, I didn't see one Marshall controlling the pace of play. I get to the back 9 and I see 6 carts waiting at the tee box. Apparently nobody waves people on on par 3's. That pretty much set the mood for the back 9. Literally 5 to 10 minute wait per shot. Still, no marshall to be seen. By the time I got to the 12th hole, I called the front desk several times until I finally someone answered the phone. Finally sent out a Marshall, he did nothing. He just said "it's backed up all the way to the 18th." I left before finishing the 12th hole. I used to come here a lot, but it seems like everytime I come, it gets worse and worse. Never again. Course was well maintained though, so if you guys have 6+ hours to spare, play here.

Course Locals seem to know you don't need to have a tee time. I booked the first tee time and the course allowed three groups of locals to tee off before me and I ended up teeing off 10 minutes late, and had to wait several times throughout the round. Which is quite frustrating when you play fast and book the first tee time so that we can play as fast as we like.

The staff was friendly, but I gave a low rating for staff for allowing locals to simply jump ahead of booked tee time and for being late and not having a starter.

I enjoyed playing the course yesterday. Have a fun array of holes. However, since I was stuck with a few groups ahead playing a college tournament, the pace of play was slow. It's important to have good spacing between groups.

First time play here, greens are perfect , course lay out very nice. Challenging golf course but you can score well.

Need to hit driver straight, there are some tight fairway.

Overall I will strongly recommend to play this course, I definitely will play again.

Course is in good shape after the rain and the greens are great.

Tee time was 12:00, tee off at 1:00 pm as no golf cart available, every hole had two group of players pending over there, played 14 holes only when it became totally dark at 5:15pm. The starters were set at the most difficult places so it will much more time to tee off and find the balls.

I realize this week was a holiday week in between Christmas and New Years so many folks were off from work. However, the course clearly was over booked and had no martials on the course for speed of play or a drink cart. Took 4 hours to play 9 holes so we all went home. So I paid $31.00 for 9 holes. Mentioned to the staff after the 9 holes how long it took and they joked about it. Wow.... Will not go back there for awhile, if ever.

We had a tee time and a half an hour later we tee off. Every hole we had to wait and some holes we had to wait 15 mins. We didn't get in 18 holes because of darkest. Pace of play was VERY VERY SLOW and no one from the course said anything to anyone. We will NOT be going back to this course ever again and will not recommend this course to anyone.

My tee time is 12:07pm and it took about 20 mins delay which is fine. The pace of playing time is more than 5 hours after I finish 15th hole and I have to stop play because it's getting dark. I am giving them 1 star because the staff is friendly.

The pace of play was slow, hella slow. 3 groups of golfers waiting at every hole. And golfers playing blue tee should not be playing blues tees and you know who you are.

We had a 12:30 pm tee time for eighteen holes. When we arrived we were told that they were running a few minutes late. We did not Tee off until 1:30 PM; one hour after our scheduled time. The pace of play was unbelievably slow. It took three hours to play the front nine. To add insult to injury, the cart died at the ninth hole and we had to push the cart to the clubhouse. When we arrived there we were told that the restaurant as well as the restroom had closed. We pulled our bags off of the carts and left. I have played there before but never again!

It poured heavy rain that day and didn't enjoy much the entire golf.
