good course but slow plays
good course, tricky greens, challenge.
slow start and many 5 some groups. delay the play time
Beautiful course at the present time.
Have not seen a lot of course as I am still in the learning stage and time is an issue when I play out. Have played a few courses around the area lately. Thanks to the discounts from Golf Now. This has been one of the best courses I've played this year. I was a bit concerned with the amount of oak trees and the power line towers in and around the fairways , but it just makes it interesting to make the game a bit tighter and the necessity to play straighter shots. The greens were fantastic and the course was very well maintained. Thanks for a great day of golf and the opportunity to voice my opinion.
Great value
Pro shop staff very cordial. Service at snack bar was very slow. Marshall was helpful.
This course has great maintenance
This course has well managed. I like to play again.
Not a bad course for the money
The course was in good condition. Staff friendly, carts nice and clean. Got off on scheduled time. We were a group of 3 our pace of play was significantly faster than the group in front of us which was a group of 5! They played very slow. We waited for at least 10 minutes on each tee box. Asked if we could play through on par 3. They said no! Took us close to 21/2 hours just to play 9 holes. Left after 9 holes. Curious as to why they allow a group of 5 out together, and why the marshal did not see that the pace of play was so slow? Only reason I just left without saying anything to clubhouse was I only paid 20 per person! May or may not go again?
Water features adds to the beauty and challenge of this course.
The course was in excellent condition. The layout is challenging and very pleasing to the eye. It has a combination of elevation changes that adds to challenges of the course. The only minor problem the day I played was the play was a little slow. The marshall just rode around. The group in front of my group was a hole behind the entire round and the marshall did not encourage them to keep up with the group in front of them. Other than the relative slow play, this is an excellent course. I will play here again.
great condition
great shape, greens rolled nice, rough was thick in spots
Never dried up
This course is a bit different in that there are three par threes and three par fives on the front and only one of each ok the back. Course is always maintained with proper water and Never dried up, even through summer. Greens are in great shape as usual.
San Dimas is a just a great place to play.
My wife and I enjoy this course. It is our first choice for a day of golf. Staff is great, food is good and the price is a great value. The course is always in good shape and unlike other county courses, they watch the pace of play and are doing what they can to keep it moving. The Marshall's are polite in keeping the pace moving and the golfers we have been paired with understand that if you are not a sub-ten handicap, you play the white tees. Pace of play is as much our responsibility as the courses, this course and the folks who play there seem to understand that.
Good course, good value
It's my second time play this course. The course is well maintained. It's a short course, but the fairway is narrow. Many holes with "blind green", you can't see green at tee box. the green is also some kind of multi-tier. to make par you have to put your ball at right place. The day I played, the wind is very strong, typical for a course at the foot of hill, valley. I did not play well, over 90's. But I will come back.
San Dimas
Great course and well kept. To complete 18 holes, .expect 5 1/2 hours plus.
Greens were punched that morning
Would have been nice if the starter had told me on the phone the day before when I called to confirm my tee time that the greens would be punched the morning after holidays. I would have rescheuled for another course.
Course was packed. Round took over 5 hrs.
Course was in good shape. Greens were very nice and tough to read.
this course has great vistas.
I have always liked San Dimas G.C. I was in their Mens club, the Greens are very good, very fast and hard to read if you haven't played there.
San Dimas golf course is fantastic. I love it.
San Dimas is a great golf course for the money. The course is in great shape, good variety and fun. GPS a big plus. The wild life (deer, geese and occasional bear) add to the mystic.
Popular Friday course. Can get busy and slow
The course greens are in great shape. Play was slow and marshals drove around but did not speed up play.
Course is well maintained
This course was in great shape. It's pretty short, even from the tips, but it's hilly, narrow and has several dog legs, so you'll definitely have to work for a good score. The course is up in the hills and we saw several deer on the course while we played. I would definitely play here again. My only concern, is they allow 5-somes. Luckily, we started late and we didn't catch up to them until the last few holes. The marshals won't do anything to help you past them either. Other than that, it was a good day.
Great
I'm hole in one yesterday #10
Wow
So great fun.
I'm come back.
Beautiful good course.
This course has great features.
Course condition was good, Staffs are friendly, beautiful mountain view, great value for the money.
horrible greens
fairway was decent but the greens were half punched or reseeding .... pace of play way so slow it took us over 5 hrs to play 12 holes before we decided to leave...i used to play this course growing up, but wont be back here anytime soon...
