Surprised at the condition

I was very surprised at the condition of the course due to the recent drought over the past month and a half. In better shape than most courses in the area, but Avalon’s downfall will always be the grass they chose for the greens. I like several other golfers absolutely cannot Zoysia greens. Be back.

Not great

Person in the pro shop wasn’t friendly . Was notified as I was checking in for my 9 am t time that the course was closing at 12 for a tournament . Wasn’t aware of that when I booked my t time . The starter was great and let me go off a little early , and our group did finish . That being said the last 4 holes we felt like we had to rush to complete our round . Fairways and greens weren’t great either . Wont be playing here next time I visit the area . Go play Centennial instead . Waaaaay better course conditions , grass driving range and the entire staff was amazing

Nice course

Course was in pretty good shape 8 out of 10. As most courses right now with the heat and rain there are some spots. I will say they are working on it to keep it in top shape. Major, GM, was very friendly and want to hear my opinion and seemed to care about my concerns and criticism. Go check it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed. Keep up the hard work. I’ll be back sooner than 3 years.
