Fairways and Greens
The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Tee boxes could use some work however the most disappointing part are the bunkers. There were only a handful of bunkers that you can play out of. The rest were either washed out or hard compacted. Come on Bristow, let’s get this fixed!
1st frost delay of the year
Frost overnight led to a delay of an hour or so. The course was in great shape for this time of year which shows the excellent care they take on the property. Had a great round on a beautiful course. The only thing to mention is that there are a number of holes with fairways adjacent to others. We hear “fore” about 20 times!

Good public course but......
I have played this course many times and for a public course it is a good value and generally is in good shape. On the date I played the pace of play was horrible. Repeatedly 2 to 3 groups stacked on the tee box and not much help from Marshals. We were offered a rain check on 10 if we wanted to leave. I normally enjoy this course but not on this date.

Hidden Gem
Enjoyed the course but am sure it’ll be even more enjoyable after a few more plays as it’s not the usually driver, wedge type of course. Course knowledge is a must or play with someone who can inform you on how to play many of the holes. Enjoyed the layout and challenge. As an 8 hdcp I look forward to playing it again with more intelligence behind my shots!

Good shape but slow
I generally enjoy playing this course. However, there needs to be a presence out on the course to help speed up play. I've never seen a marshall on the course. When I got to 10 green, there was a group on 11 green, two groups on 11 tee, a group on 12 fairway, and nobody on 12 tee. And we waited for the rest of the round.
Also, have you considered reversing the 9s, so that 18 would end right at the clubhouse?

Amazing conditions, quirky layout
Fairways are like carpet. As good as a TPC. Greens are pretty fast and roll true.
However, the layout specifically on the front nine drops the likability. A couple holes are nearly impossible to bogey much less par or birdie even from the middle tees. Additionally only one of the par fives allows a driver to be hit off the tee.
I have shot 11-12 over on the front and 1-2 over on the back multiple times. The front is just too quirky to make this as enjoyable as the conditions would normally allow.

If Bristow Manor had better quality sand it would receive 5 stars in my book and reminding golfers to fix their divots. Enjoyed the round and will return to BM.

Nice course -- what happened to the rest rooms?
Course is in very good condition. They have spent a lot of money on the bar/restaurant, but they removed the rest rooms on each nine. Why? They say they like getting feedback here so maybe they will tell us. They are working to improve the bunkers, so that's good too.

Poorly managed, staff could care less, no sand in bunkers. Played here about 5 years ago. Probably will be another 5.

A trip that’s worth it
I’ve played this course many times before, but it’s been awhile. I will say that I was impressed with the conditions, except for some of the tee boxes. The course is beautiful and I can wait to get back to BM soon! Keep up the great work!!
