Very good bang for your buck
It's a bit out there from Northern Virginia, but one of the best bang for the bucks you can get around here now that most courses are above $80. Wide open fairways, mix of challenging and birdie potential holes. Great staff

Challenging layout and design
This is a well-maintained beautiful golf course with a lot of challenging holes. Course is in great shape. Piece of clay was good. Putting green and driving range or adequate. Lack of a starter and Marshall, unorganized management made the start of the round a little difficult but other than that I would definitely recommend the course and will Definitely be back,.

The Manor
Fairways nice, greens fast and firm, bunkers were in good shape. Course is always maintained well. Go play it.

Staff
The staff in the pub is very friendly. I left my new sunglasses in the pub and was able to retrieve them today. Thanks everyone!
The pace of play is slow. I think carts with GPS would help a great deal. Also no beverage cart until hike number 9. In 90 degree heat this is poor management. Lost revenue and now a lost customer.

Very Nice Day
Course is in beautiful shape. Bunkers are getting needed upgrade. No restroom on the back 9. Fairways and greens very nice. Rough is spotty and thin so not much penalty missing the fairway. If they get the rough up to shape like the rest of the course, this will be a fantastic test.

Great day
Beautiful day on the course. Paired with a nice guy my age, courses was in great shape, and weather was perfect. Looks like they are working to put course in really great shape. Tee boxes needed a little work and fairways needed some rain. The greens may have been the best conditioned of any I’ve ever seen in the area. Keep up the good work.

Slow play. No starter. Had to start on 10. Slow play. Made turn. Now they are letting people start on 1. More waiting. Course in good shape

Perfect greens, tricky track, affordable - a gem!
This is my first review, and I couldn't think of a better course to review than Bristow! They put on great events (have done quite a few scrambles there, and even a murder mystery!), the staff is always friendly, prices are reasonable for everything (we got a hot deal at $59, and I had codes to bring it down to $39), and I love the layout (minus a few quirky breaks in fairways making the fives barely gettable, and a few "kill boxes" where you have to watch for errant shots from every direction). The greens were PERFECT. Rolling really well, predictable, with enough tough reads to frustrate you properly. Some of the tee boxes could use some work for sure, and there were some spotty areas in the rough that we allowed rolling in, but all-in-all, what a great time, at a great course, that we will definitely come back to when we can!

Most challenging layout
I have played this course many times because I live in the area. Holes 7 and 8 are some of the hardest holes in the area. The finishing hole is no joke. I will continue to play this course.
