Great course, great value!
Great course all around. Layout was fair - not tricked up or gimmicky. Staff was friendly, receptive and helpful. Course conditions were okay considering that it is early spring and the weather was fairly cold when I played. Bottom line is I would highly recommend it ang definitely would like to play it again in warmer weather.
A stand out course that's limited only by one's own ability
This is a course that demands very precise shot making , whether off the tee or into the green. In prime conditions, the greens are the fastest and truest of anything in the Niagara peninsula - just a pleasure to putt on if not just a little intimidating. The only reason I gave it 4 stars in some categories was because the greens were still healing over from a late Fall aeration but the price was reflective of that. All in all, still one of my very favorite courses anywhere.
Awesome
Get at least 1 round in at this track , played it 3 times in 2017 , can't wait until spring 2018
Grand Niagara - pristene
Niagara is a golf mecca. I've played every track out there. Of all the public access tracks available to the avid golfer, Grand Niagara comes in at the top of the pecking order at all levels of assessment. This course is immaculate. The greens are the truest anywhere that I've played. The superintendent has maintained this facility with admiring eyes and skillful hands. The starter and marshalling staff as well as the Pro Shop staff are friendly and welcoming. GN is a must play even fore the week-end warrior.
great course great staff one of the top courses in the region
Play a great course with friendly staff . They need a nicer Clubhouse for a course of such a high quality.
Best Public Course
Great layout. Extremely well maintained. The course covers a lot of real estate, which makes it difficult to maintain pace of play for walkers.
Flawless
As good as any course I've ever played. Flawless in every respect.
Best in Niagara area
I love this course, play from the right tees and you will enjoy a great challenge
Best course in the Niagara area. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure your experience is enjoyable
Other then the interest in not compensating us for a 5hr 30min round
The course is in amazing shape and challenging but also not harsh, the staff are friendly but the marshaling team needs to be trained in course management when it comes to having tournaments that are very slow. To be fair we started the round at 3:30 pm behind a large tournament that took us till 6:30 to finish 9 and made it to the 16th at 8 which if we kept on that pace would have been enough to squeak in just in time. We came apon the 17th to the whole tournament standing around doing god only knows what , we just skipped the last two holes and proceeded to mention to the staff our frustrations over the lack of control over the group and all we got in response was what can we do. Wasn't something I was expecting from a highend course that promotes itself as one and even heard a story from the staff about a member leaving after three holes because of the same group. Even left a message with the office about the experience along with my number and haven't heard boo from anyone so either we are out in left field or no one cares, could be a combo of both. Anyways, call ahead to see who is there before going but the course itself is very nice.
always great
The fairways were in great condition and the greens were fast and true. A little slow on the second nine, but an enjoyable round of golf.
