Gem in Niagara
Every year a group of friends and i go to the falls for our annual golf outing. Grand Niagara is our top destination course to play. The layout of the course is one that will challenge you throughout your round and offer you a variety of tough holes. The driving range is large and accommodating. The only down fall to this course is the Clubhouse could be larger and i am sure that is in the future plans for the facility. Again this is (i think) one of the gems in the Niagara golf area.
Best in the area
Friendly helpful staff complimented a nice layout. Choose the correct tees to play from and you'll have a good day.
This was a great golfing experience. Grand Niagara is well worth the drive it rivals or surpasses some of the better known courses in the area.
Best course in Niagara
I have a place down in NOTL and played a number of the better courses in the area but still have not found a course better than Grand Niagara. Yet again, the course was in excellent condition, the staff are friendly and the course is wonderful. If you're planning on only playing one round in Niagara, this is the course you should play....
Best in Niagara
This course is a MUST play when I'm in Niagara. The course is challenging to the average golfer but fair. This was the fourth time I have played it and it was once again in great shape. Kudos to the greens keeper and his team.
The only sad thing is that they really need a better clubhouse and pro shop.
Falls Golf at its finest
Grand Niagara was a great course, challenging layout and in great condition. Greens rolled fast and true. Grass range+++ and short game/putting green were great warm up amenities. Paired with a friendly group of Canadians, was great day in Ontario.
Exceptional staff, exceptional course
Quite possibly the best staff I have encountered on a golf course, they really take pride in their facility, as well they should.
Pleasant course
Golf course was in very good condition, greens rolled nicely and well organized.
I would definitely play again.
Best Course in Niagara
Great course very challenging. Staff is excellent from the time you arrive and until your finished the round. If I need to say something negative is that no food service in the morning.
A Must Play
Hands down the best course in the Niagara Region, Grand Niagara is a must play for anyone coming to the region. A beautiful Rees Jones design full of opportunities to put up a great score with greens that roll extremely true. From your first tee shot (a little intimidating) to the par 5 18th, every hole is picture perfect.
Get there early, hit some balls and practice putts (this is essential since the greens are quick), and chat with the very welcoming staff.
We had another amazing experience and will be returning again soon.
The best course in the Niagara region
Always a pleasure to play this course when we visited the Niagara region. A bit pricey but worth the money. Nice layout with excellent fairway/greens. In my opinion this is the best course in the Niagara regions or may be in the GTA region.
Great course
This course was excellent greens were lighting fast and true fairways were in great shape challenging course but fair too pace of play was great it felt like we were the only group out there highly recommended
A must play (at the right price)
One of the better courses around in terms of design and conditioning.
Course is in darn good condition given our slow start to spring.
Not too many golfers this day (90 on the tee sheet) so we had a great leisurely round.
The price was right on GolfNow at $65 (albeit that's on the high end of what I normally pay for playing golf at other courses after searching all the deals out there and by purchasing promotional coupons at Christmas).
I'd play here a lot more if the $65 price held up.
The rate for this course is $99 on peak.
I think that is too high.
Fun to play
Grand Niagara Golf Course met all our expectations. Staff friendly and explained the course. The course itself is
well maintained and challenging. We plan to return often!
Hang on to your hat
We got a hot deal to play the course, because we think it is normally over priced for the area. The staff was great and got us out early and water was available on the first tee if we wanted it. The only course we know of down here that does this. The course was in good shape and no standing water anywhere after last weeks big rain. But it was WINDY, every time you were hitting in to it you needed more club than you thought, the flags were almost touching the ground in a couple of cases. My playing partner and I ended playing the silver on the back on the par 5's and the par 3's. We the think the whites at 5750 is a little short and the silver at 6400 is a bit long, 6000 would be a good number to play. Don't know if it is possible or not, some courses in the states have composite tees you play whites for the fours and fives and the blues for the par 3's.
Great Place for a relaxing round
This course is fairly easy off the Tee to Green. the greens are fast and rolling. great staff , loading your cart and what not. was really hot and windy there was free ice cold water.
I didn't play well yet it was still a great afternoon. the course is not punishing when you make a mistake.. or 3
Great selection of Tee Boxes as well.
The grand Niagara course in great shape .the staff friendly
And this course is a challenge and a bit try long when the wind is strong. .Overall one of the nicest course in the Niagara region .
