About
Cardinal Lakes Golf Club offers two 18-hole courses, a championship and an executive. The Sparrow Course is the original executive layout and while it may only be 4,909 yards, it offers the same challenges as its championship sister course. The generous fairways, many of which are doglegs, are flanked with rough areas and there are numerous ponds and lakes that come into play. Surrounded by trees and bunkers, the small greens demand accuracy. It may be a short layout, but this formidable golf course requires careful course management, proper club selection, and solid short game skills. While it may often be overlooked because of its length, the Sparrow is Niagara's most formidable short track

Great Day!
Tried this course for the first time and had a great day! The cart paths and a few areas on the course itself were quite wet but this did not affect our game. Nice layout and challenging despite being a shorter course. All in all I was very pleased with the day.
Very clean cut well maintained.
Enjoyed this course first time playing it. Would definatly come back maybe try the sparrow. The only thing I might have done better was have sandwiches on the beer cart and a larger selection that was fully stocked. We asked for a specific drink and didn't have it 3rd time around.
Good value for the money
Course is drying out nicely. Greens in great shape. Bunkers need more sand.
First Round of the Year
Course was in really good shape for considering a soggy May. Traps were a little hard and no ball cleaners but had a great day.

Great day. Very friendly staff. Good pace of play. Very good all around. The staff exceeded my expectations.
rainy day golf
Great day at Cardinal Lakes. Day started out with rain. Waited for 2 hours and finished 18 holes on the Sparrow course. No issues. Friendly staff.
Staff very accomadating
Put on the bigger course as conditions on Sparrow was too wet. Staff made things right. As far as I am concerned they are a first class course.
A Soggy And Windy Day
Although the course was playable, it was very wet and carts should not have been allowed to drive on it. It's a longish course and we didn't finish 18 holes. Maybe we should have waited about a week for course conditions to improve.
Bad time of yesr
Booked through golf now with cart but because of course conditions had to walk should receive credit for not being able to use cart as I have trouble walking.
No power cart
Hot deal indicated cart included. None, only walking cart.

No carts yet we were sold carts
Your site told us they had carts. Therefore we booked our tee time and showed up as schedule only to find out they don’t have carts available yet. The course told us they have been in contact with GolfNow to correct this but you have failed to do so. We had a member of our group that was unable to play that day because of this mixup. Very disappointed.

Great location and facilities. New experience for us.
End of searon so no score cards available.
Being 1st time no map to show holes and the signs at the tees were only distance no visul as to dog leg, water etc. The Herron is a long crse lots of par 5 and 4 so good practise with th fairway woods.
Would go back again when they have score cards hope they show layout.
Grounds in good condition and a wonderful day playing.

Good job all around. Staff very friendly. Excellent value for the price.
Short but challenging
This is a short course but that doesn't make it easy. The fairways are fairly tight and the hazards are well placed. You could easily leave the driver home and not be at a disadvantage. Accuracy is the name of the game. The greens are the real challenge though. They are sloped and undulating and if you are lucky enough to have a single break it could be measured in feet. The course is well kept and improving due to the work Cardinal is putting in. All in all an interesting course that is playable by any level of golfer.
Great layout
Awesome course, especially if still a beginner. Beautifully layed out fairways, greens were nice (a couple holes with geese poop, but what can you do at this time of year). The only issue I found was getting to the course itself. My GPS kept sending me in the residential area in the back of the course. Once found, everything was great!

Want some challenge and tune up on your short game....this is the place
Challenge yourself being subpar, if not then don’t consider it too short or easy...it’s not
Fast greens and fairways like carpet
I play this course because I can get through a round in 3 hours or so.. but on this day I played behind 4 ladies (members, is what I was told) that refused to let us play through. Despite standing on 2 tee decks for over 5 minutes each.. So I skipped two holes then encountered lawn cutters on 10 of 16 holes. It was a slow go.. Probably my 18th round at this course this year
