Cardinal Lakes Golf Club - Sparrow Course

Being 1st time no map to show holes and the signs at the tees were only distance no visul as to dog leg, water etc. The Herron is a long crse lots of par 5 and 4 so good practise with th fairway woods.

Would go back again when they have score cards hope they show layout.

Grounds in good condition and a wonderful day playing.

This is a short course but that doesn't make it easy. The fairways are fairly tight and the hazards are well placed. You could easily leave the driver home and not be at a disadvantage. Accuracy is the name of the game. The greens are the real challenge though. They are sloped and undulating and if you are lucky enough to have a single break it could be measured in feet. The course is well kept and improving due to the work Cardinal is putting in. All in all an interesting course that is playable by any level of golfer.

Awesome course, especially if still a beginner. Beautifully layed out fairways, greens were nice (a couple holes with geese poop, but what can you do at this time of year). The only issue I found was getting to the course itself. My GPS kept sending me in the residential area in the back of the course. Once found, everything was great!

I play this course because I can get through a round in 3 hours or so.. but on this day I played behind 4 ladies (members, is what I was told) that refused to let us play through. Despite standing on 2 tee decks for over 5 minutes each.. So I skipped two holes then encountered lawn cutters on 10 of 16 holes. It was a slow go.. Probably my 18th round at this course this year

Fast undulating greens. Tight fairways. Great deal on GolfNow. Well worth it. Not a pushover and three putts can be easily had! LOL

Good value for the money. Greens are in excellent condition and challenging.

Had a great time playing here for the first time since the new ownership. Can’t say it’s changed too much, but the carts for sure are new and in excellent shape. Pace of play was great. We were slow at 3-1/2 hours, but we were basically by ourselves since nobody ever caught up to us. Greens were quick, but they were some damaged. Fairways and traps were in good shape. Couldn’t beat the price either, thanks to GolfNow.

The staff at this course are the best, always friendly, never any hassle.

Played the Sparrow course today. Everything on this course was in excellent condition, from the greens to the fairways to the tee boxes. Congratulations to the grounds keepers. Greens are challenging. I love this course layout and will definitely be back.

Course is in great shape and is a delight to play. Shorter course then the Heron course but just as much fun to play.

Great condition,played round under three hours. No waiting . Will keep playing this course.

Enjoyed my round very much 3 hours perfect greens if I had one complaint it would be the lack of sand in the bunkers will go back for sure!

Spent a day with a friend. Had great day ,smaller track but in great condition plus fast greens ,my complliments to the greenkeeper. Putting was tuff ,loved the challenge. Had a birdie and several pars so did my playing partner. Give it a try .
