Visiting Chesapeake from Western New York. Course layout was very nice. Pace of play a little slow on a Sunday afternoon but it was a full Teesheet, so understandable. Fairway grass was still a little early spring dormant but greens and sand hazards were in great condition. Would definitely play again.
Good Day on the Course
Enjoyed the course. The conditions were good. I will go back.
Nice course, windy day
First time out on this course and it was fairly good. Early in the year still and the greens could use some work. Majority of holes have water in play. Overall I’ll probably play again hopefully it’s not windy again like today.
Nice layout
The course was in very nice condition, greens were nice and putted true. Facilities were fair, no clubhouse yet. The staff was great. Would play again.
Greens where fast
Three holes car path only ... other that hit it long and straight
Fun to Play
I got up with a old friend, and we both enjoyed the round. We split a bucket of balls, and practiced our putting before tee time. It helped.
Don’t go by past reviews
Battlefield has come a long long way . Other than not having a clubhouse - it’s so much better than it used to be and has one of the more interesting layouts . Not just the same old flat layouts with basic dog log left or right . I don’t mind the lack of paved cart paths either

Haven't played here for a while. Got a promotion from teeoff.com. Nice.
The course is challenging when playing blue tee: ponds, steep slopes, long par 3.
Should come back!
First time
Stars are a little down due to not being able to grab lunch but see things are changing. Planes can be loud but sounds of freedom. Will be back.
This course was very nice
This is my first time playing on this golf course, I can only imagine The beauty of this course during the spring and summer. The staff were very friendly.
