Nice round
weather was wet so not many tee times. No wait at all. Course gets better each time I play it. Tee boxes were good, fairways nice, greens al.ost perfect. Even had sand in traps which has been ra f e around here. It is now my goto course. Hopefully the overdue clubhouse will begin soon.
Vacation from Ohio
On vacation from Ohio. So went on Golfnow and brooked for 16 dollars. What a great deal. Only got to play 9. Ranked started coming down to hard. So the course give me a free 18 card. Just have to pay for the cart. Staff was very good and friendly. So am hoping to go back before I had back home.
Unique Course for the Area
Only downsides were the lack of signage and no clubhouse. Links style course is a rarity in the area and this one definently is unique for the majority of courses in the area. For $25/pp its a good value. Some of the tee boxes are right next to each other hitting in the same direction so errant tee shots onto other players can occur.
Glad to Be Back
Course has come a long way from its' initial opening. I'm kinda glad folks still aren't aware of the improvement it has seen over the years since it makes it easier to get out!
Course Needs Improvemnts
Battlefield course is a nice course, but the cart paths are in horrible shape and need to be paved. Especially if it's cart path only through the entire course because of soggy grounds.. Additionally, finding where to tee off for hole 10 is not well marked. There is a sign but it points towards the employee only driving range cart path where it says no carts. Other than that it is a great course and I will be playing there again.
Good time
course was in really nice condition considering the hot and dry weather we have had last few weeks. Greens were nice maybe just a little slow.. Fairways were good. Tee boxes good. Traps maintained. Had one hole (16?) that had a hole about 2 times size of regulation that was different and fun. Shade impossible to find with 95 degrees temp and no beverage cart. Water coolers full and cold around course. Not the most challenging course but will definitely play again
All the greens are make shift holes(no holes)
The fair ways and tee boxes are good ... except the no hole on all the greens....
Great course
Great time; first time out this spring. Wind was a factor; but enjoyed the course and will play again if we're back in Virginia Beach!
