Best bang for your buck
Wide open, no houses. Love this course. In great shape.
First time, but will be Long time
For mid April, the course was already in good shape. The course is similar to a Links course with lots of hilly areas, and wind. Many of the longer holes have an obstructed view of the flag, so your have to play the shape of the holes. No grip it and rip it! The greens are in great shape and the roll is true. Downhill means downhill. The staff was great. They have a great driving range, practice putting green, and a chipping area, all near the pro shop. While it is presently a double wide, it has a few drink and snack options, plus the extras you need, (tees, gloves, balls towels, etc) while the new proshop/clubhouse, is in the works.
Need clubhouse
Nice club. Over prices crackers and sodas. Need clubhouse and stop charging ridiculous price for cheese crackers
Beautiful course
Place gets better every time no complaints just awaiting the club house
Low ethics-course
I came back to play 9 holes due to receiving a rain check. I got the rain check for pace of play, not actual rain (they were packing tee times with groups of 6). They charged me an extra $14 to use my rain check because the difference between 9 holes and the price I paid for the 18 (on a Sunday) were offset. They didn’t “make it right” and honor the receipt for 9 holes they gave me.
waiting for finishing
My playing partner really enjoy this course. The only drawback is the entrance and parking lot are not paved. The clubhouse is s trailer and restrooms are porta potties. We will return to play but hope the off-course amenities come sooner rather than later
Great price for a challenging course
My playing partner and I played 9 holes at Battlefield Golf Course. We found the course in excellent shape and challenging. The off course amenities were non-existent but a club house is planned. The carts are old and the USB ports do not work. But we loved the course and even though we lost balls in the water, it was very enjoyable. We will be back and look forward to the future of this course.
