About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COURSE!
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE.
The greens were literally dirt. The fairways were indistinguishable from the rough. Tee boxes chewed up.
I repeat. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE.
Good layout, but...
Lay out was good, couple of hard dog legs that forced you think about your tee shot. For the price you pay I would've expected the course to be in much better shape. Fairways were very rough, lots of bare spots and divots. Greens weren't much better either.
Dog track
Saw more dirt than I did grass playing this course. You have much better options in Berlin for the price, save yourself the headache of golfing here. Hot dog at the turn was great though and staff were friendly.
Good course, good value!
Enjoyed our round at Ocean Resorts, it was part links style part woodlands which made for a challenging but fun round. I was able to get a hot deal so played it for $55 which was an amazing value for Ocean City area golf. Some greens were a little beat up and not always consistent speed from hole to hole but overall course was in good condition. Would definitely play it again.
Ok at best course.
For $85, they get ya. It’s a public course close to the beach and had resort in it. The round should be $35-$50 MAX.
One of my go to courses
Every summer when we visit OCMD, Ocean Resorts is my must play course. I love the layout, challenging yet forgiving. Staff is slower friendly and helpful. Water throughout the course is always nice in the heat of the summer. They maintain the course better than most. Nice driving range and pitting green from which to Eastman up before hand. You will love it.
Steer Clear for a few months
Greens are in poor shape, overall upkeep is poor, bathrooms were disgusting, 7 dollar breakfast sandwich. Short staffed, 1 poor guy sprinting around getting carts and working the register. Tee boxes were not cut and greens were punched and then rainbow sand applied. Hard to find any grass in fairway. Driving range needs to be closed and recovered. Add some staff, take care of your grounds and clean the bathrooms. This was a very poor example of a golf course. Scored reasonably well but this is not a course I’ll return too. Stay away.
Clubhouse doesn’t open until 9am on a Saturday? Met up with the beer cart at hole 8. Enough said. Other than that loved the course as always.
