Ocean Resorts Golf Club
About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Nice layout, good condition, friendly staff, good pricing
election day bonus
These people have busted their rear ends to get this course back in playing shape. They've done a tremendous job.
Wet & Sunny
For being as wet as is it was, the course was in good condition. 74 degrees. ⛳

The course was in good shape for the fall. Most of the fairways were in good shape. Greens were true and decent. Only one suffered from being enveloped by the trees. Truly enjoyed the course and day,
First time
Patchy grass in the rough. Several tee boxes we’re just dirt with little grass. Lou in the pro show was helpful and professional.
Golf Outing
Recently held our charity golf tournament there. Course was in great shape. Jeff and his staff were fantastic to work with !
Keep it reasonable
Thank you for keeping this course reasonably priced when all other courses in OC are off the hook with their prices.
The course is getting better.
The course is improved greatly since the extensive maintenance was done. The greens are good now. Some of the fairways still need work because of bare spots and very thin grass, such as the #5 fairway. The bare spots need work and grass put down. Some T boxes are starting to get bare of grass again and need attention. But overall, as a member, I am happy with the improvements made.
Fun course to play
We played 18-holes with a cart. It is a challenging course with a good bit of water and trees. A fun course to play. We will play it again and score better with our course knowledge.
Front Yard Fairways
I was excited to play, but disappointed by the conditions. It reminded me of playing in my front yard when I hit a fairway, and went into the rough. The greens are overall not bad, with a few that have been lined by some hydraulic fluid. Overall, if you can get it for $20 it’s worth it, but not for more than that.
Challenge
These people have done a great job maintaining the course. Back nine was somewhat wet but overall it is in very good condition
Have played this course several times. Even after the dry season they have experienced the course is in better than average condition. Pace of play was great
Hard to evaluate at this time
The course apparently had an irrigation problem during a drought this summer and they lost the course. They are charging around $30.
I enjoyed the layout, but the conditions were awful with the back being almost unplayable due to soft grass conditions.
I would have appreciated free range balls as a warm up due to the conditions
Poor condition
Most of the greens were totally burnt out, and many of the sand traps were not grommed in years
