Ocean Resorts Golf Club

This course has never been a great course. This year heat really got to it. It should be at best priced at 25$. And that is pushing it. Played this course for about 20 years now.

Course was in horrible shape. Played multiple times in spring and it was in excellent shape. Recommend replacing course maintenance contractor. They could go out of business. Not worth playing for free.

The condition of this course was the worst i have played in 15 years. The greens in the woods which is over half of the course were in awful condition. Most with little to no grass. Putting on mudd. With the conditions of this course after a hot summer you should be paying $30. The layout is great and could be a very nice course, but they need to invest in fans for their greens and take much better care of their golf course. The greens in full sun were in good condition, but most of this course is wooded and one hole is currently closed. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

The course was not in good condition at all. The fairways were like a cow pasture and the greens did not have any grass on them. We were really disappointed and only finished so we could be outside.

The course was an absolute disaster. Greens and fairways the stripped to the dirt. One hole wasn’t allowed to be played. I cannot believe I payed $60 to play it and that was a discount rate.. I felt I was ripped off.

The course is a mess. I have never seen greens like this no grass at all hard crust on them.Fairways are all dead no grass a few spots of crab grass.

This is a complete shame this course is a great location I don’t no what happen.

It’s a disaster now. One hole even closed down.

They should close the whole course Until fixed.

Do not go to this course if you care about golf at all!!! Tee box’s were not cut and fairways were mud pits or rock hard depending if you were playing in a hole that had the sprinklers on or not !!! The greens were awful with holes on hills on 6 holes. Some green didn’t even have grass just pressed down mud. Also hole 14 was just not open for some reason. I recommend never coming within 100 feet of this course.

It should be considered a crime to charge people money to play at this course. The greens are dirt, zero grass whatsoever, feels like your playing connect four when you putt…where it ends up is anyones guess. Tee boxes are almost as bad as the greens……worst course I have ever played. 14th hole was down under repair, the entire course needs to be down for repair/renovation. Every time I try to upload pictures it makes me start the review over, so you’ll just have to take my word. Does anyone know how to request a refund? GolfNow is not responding to email.

Half of the greens and tee boxes were dead. Very poor course conditions.

This course was hard as rock. No upkeep on the grass. Greens were so hard you couldn’t even putt correctly . Will never play on this course again or ever recommend it to anyone. Not worth the money!!!

They have literally lost the greens at this course. Sadly to say but true. Course layout was fine,just unplayable greens. If the conditions improve I will try again.

Most greens were dried mud , fairways needed grass and divot replacement.

Layout was good if conditions were better .

Course is not playable right now unless you only want to play 9. Back 9 has one hole closed and 6 other greens that are not playable, cracked and burnt out (plus one hole in the front 9 like that). Layout was fine and if it was maintained, would be in par with most mid tier OC area setups. But with its current condition, I would pick any other course in the area over it. Not worth it.

This course was the worst I’ve ever played. Half the greens were concrete mud. Tee boxes and fairways were in poor condition. Don’t waste your time or money playing here - I wouldn’t even play it again for free. Disappointing.
