Half the greens are in great shape, but slow. The other half is like putting in a sand trap. If in good shape, I would play the course again.

This is the fourth time I’ve played this course. Until today,I have said that the staff is so friendly, very relaxed and easy-going. Today I encountered a belittling and unfriendly staff member which has led me to the decision not to play this course again.

After experiencing burnt out greens last year…most are fully back.Layout required a variety of clubs, somewhat challenging. Enjoyed the round!

Nice course overall for the price the only issue I had was the greens were way to slow.

Taking advantage of a great rate off of golf pass, we head over to the course that we booked online for two players. The time was 1:30 for a tee time of a little after three in the afternoon. First time at the course. We’re going into the pro shop and check in and he says oh Golf now, well you have quite a ways till your tee time, and I said well the place is pretty empty, do you think we might be able to get out a little bit early, and Man said no, not for $39, if you want to put the current rate of $55 we will let you go out now. Should I pay the additional price and we were off. We thought twice I was not too many trees doesn’t look too bad but once we got onto the course we understood why it wasn’t so busy. The greens were really bad shape, brown and green and weeds, also the sand was rocky, and it was hard to navigate around the course I would not recommend or come back to this course. Especially for the money that they chose to charge us Knowing that we were first timers. It just seem that it was all about the money. And not caring about the people coming to play the course.

Exceptionally friendly staff matched with a fun and challenging layout. It has become a must play on my visits to OC

Course was a little wet so even driver would leave dents in the fairway and the ball would not continue forwards from landing. Many spot on the fairway do not have grass and have to be treated like early spring late fall rules.

Pace was great and it was relatively cheap. I’d recommend this course if you wanted to get a decent round in while on vacation but it is not a destination course otherwise.

Outside the future that the weather was awesome, the course is well maintained, awesome greens, and just a great course. If you get the chance play this course.

I will play here again, the course was in good shape, it’s a challenging layout with water coming into play, but it’s a good challenge.

Very nice track. Whites are short at approx 5700 yards but holes require accurate shots so still challenging. Staff very friendly. No charge for my wife to ride along. My only real complaint were that the greens were very slow.

Of all the courses in the area this is the best value for the cost. We got out early finished in 4 and 1/2 hours. Fairways were in great shape, greens were in great shape, and most of the tee boxes we're in good condition I will definitely play this again and recommend it to anyone.

Nice course, greens soft and slower than I thought they would be. Lots of grass in fairways and long rough. Would have been nice if there was a map of the hole on the tee box sign. Being the first time we played there, we didn't know what the hole was like (water, trash, etc) which made the round interesting! OR they could put a course layout on the score card---

otherwise very nice, nothing high end--DIY-- (no GPS in cart, no 'bag boys', no roving beverage cart, no carts in parking lot, no course layout info for new folks) Inside golf shop & 19th hole dining looked very nice & clean, though we did not eat/drink there. Would definitely play there again!

I've played Ocean Resorts several times over the years and never found the condition to be great, but I was pleasantly surprised this time as the course condition was greatly improved. Tee boxes were much better as were the fairways. The greens were very lush, perhaps a little too slow. Bunkers were in excellent shape - groomed and soft. Signs of ground improvement going on around the course. Glad to see that they are investing in improving the course.

I've always liked the course layout and depending on the tee box you pick the course can be easy to challenging.
