Ocean Resorts Golf Club

Ocean Resorts is a good course if you’re looking for a place to play in the Ocean City, MD area. It’s not terribly long, but it is a decent challenge, with a few tight landing areas and small greens. The condition was excellent, though the greens were very slow. It looked like they were aerated within the last 2 weeks. That notwithstanding, I’d play there again.

All practice facilities, no pairing with others.. if you can talk groups into letting you pass this was the best/fastest experience I had in oc area. Deal was like $18. 100% coming back and recommend to others.

Upon check in we were advised that they were airrating and we would need to play the front 9 twice. The staff were making calls to see if they would let anyone off of the back ( we had an 8:57) and the airation crew was going to start at 9. Finally after much debate they send us off the back first with another 2some. We played 3 holes with a father son team who were very nice but inexperienced. After my son and I had good drives I asked the father if he minded if we broke off from them as we had plans later in the day. He was fine with it. We continued to play and reached the turn in 1hr 35 min. A 3 some was coming off of 9 to play again and the lady who was the cashier asked if they minded if our 2 some could play first. They were getting food at the turn so they said no problem. We teed off and another 2 some was just coming off of 9. We waited for them to join us and we continued as a 4 some. by hole 4 Roger the starter came to us at the tee box and asked why we ditched the other 2 some we started with. I explained and he said we should never have done that and we jumped in front of others. I informed him that his boss told us to go out at the turn and we even waited to pair up with another 2 to make a foursome. The attitude and BS that Roger had was uncalled for and not what you want on vacation. The course is mismanaged, has poor customer service and not worth the money to play. There are way better courses within 10 min of this "dog track" stay away.

Course conditions were not very good. Tee boxes were terrible. Lots of crabgrass on the course. Needs lots of work.

I enjoyed playing here. Staff was helpful and friendly. The course wasn't crowded although it was a Sunday in the the summer. Greens were good rest of the course was average. Price was reasonable.

$55 is a complete robbery. The greens are either dirt or super slow. We were scheduled to play a par 3 course today but we wanted a more diverse experience….. worst decision of our lives.

Course has below par greens. For $80+ a round, more money needs to be put back into the course. Greens are like carpets and had not been mowed in over a week. Pace was very slow, 5 groups backed up on a hole sometimes. Club house had been called and they “talked to the group” but no improvement was seen, 5+ hour round.

I enjoyed the day. Course was in decent shape. I have zero complaints. Would play again if/ when I'm back in town

This was the 3rd time I have played here. It was a very nice course! Give out coolers with 6 packs of beer which is awesome! Fairly priced food and beverages. Driving range and putting green were clean and well managed.. one green was a little messy but it was very noticeable that they are continually managing the greens trying to get them in tip top condition! Overall I would play here more if I lived closer and recommend the round to players of all skill levels.
