About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Rock hard burnt fairways
Course is in extremely bad shape, back nine is in poor shape, front nine is ok, felt like hitting off of rock in some fairways , some greens were dirt and sand, never play there again
Varied Layout
Ocean Resorts is an affordable golf course convenient to Ocean City, it is a nice mix of challenging and easier holes.
A nice practice area includes a driving range with grass tees.
The staff is customer focused. They work to make your experience enjoyable. The snack bar is has reasonably priced nice food.
COVID is being managed properly.
This course was in poor condition. Pace of ply good - late afternoon. Good course for higher handicap golfer.

My first time playing the course . I enjoyed the layout. The fairways were dry and needed seeding . The greens were nice a few were bad , Too shaded but were air raided with sand seed mixed, still played well .. good enough course for half the price of Eighty percent of the courses available in Ocean City..
Tee Boxes and Greens
I have played here several times. The conditions of the course was decent. The most recent time I played (early September) the course was terrible. Most of the greens and tee boxes were horrible. No grass on them.
Tucked in
Nice course must hit a straight ball . It is tucked into a neighborhood with beautiful views. I will play this course again
Rip off
Pouring rain all morning but since the course was. “Open” no refund or even a rain check. The course is in bad condition and Not going to get any better if you make people play in a downpour
Terrible condition
we golfed here on vacation, worst condition golf course I've ever golfed, good luck finding grass in the fairways.
Like the Layout
The front nine is in fair to good shape. The back nine is in very poor shape and needs a tremendous amount of work. The Layout is really neat. It makes you think and use every club in your bag. I truly hope that they can get the back side recovered as this is a hidden gem. The course and site is right up front with telling you about the condition of the back nine.
I will play this course again in the fall as it was enjoyable and the staff was Fantastic!!!
BACK NINE GREENS WERE TERRIBLE. looked like concrete sandy and nearly unplayable
I played the course while on vacation. It was a shorter target golf type of course. I personally like that. The greens were in tough shape due to recent storms in the area. The staff gave me 10$ off and a 10$ voucher for my next round.

Just played the front 9. 3 of the greens were in very bad shape, and the pro shop attendant had indicated that the back 9 was in worse shape than the front.
At the moment, I would only play course if you get a very discounted greens fee.

I'm sorry to hear of your experience, but I want to clarify a few things. The course is recovering nicely from storms that damaged some of the greens in July. You had a tee time here on Sept. 10th. You did not play but you did call the Golf shop because it was raining. And no one was going to force you to play in the rain. You purchased a Hot Deal on GolfNow. Golf courses that offer those receive no revenue from the sale which is why we could not give you a refund. You were told by my staff that you would have to go through Golfnow to get a refund or to move your tee time to another day. In most cases GN will not issue a refund unless the course is closed. I hope this clears things up.
