About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Decent course
It’s a decent short course. It’s just not worth $75.
Terrible Green Conditions
Overall good. Have played here multiple times but today the back nine greens were terrible. In fact you could not even call them greens, there was no grass on them. I know it’s the cheaper course around here. But still paying close to 100$ for a twosome and having those conditions is not ok.
Good layout. No maintenance
Greens were worse o ever played. Won’t let me upload the picture but they look like baseball infields. Fairways not much better. Roughs patchy with dirt spots. Course needs way better maintenance. Don’t waste your money.
Frustrating round
I don’t recommend playing this course. More then not the greens are burned out. Was like putting on hard wood floors and looked terrible. The course was a nice layout but the poor greens and lack of yardage marks throughout the course really made the round frustrating and not worth the money in my opinion.
Ocean Resorts GC
Course was in terrible shape. Hardly any grass on fairways , greens or tee box. Won’t be returning any time soon.
Greens are gone!
The pro shop attendant might be the nicest person on earth. But I can’t believe they charged me $65 to play this course when 9 of the greens were burnt. He mentioned after the round that they lost the greens 3 days ago. He should have told me before he took my money. Check how many greens are gone before you play this!
No greens
We should have been told the greens were bad most where burn out. Could hit to the greens they never stop
Great course for the money
Beside one group in front of us . We set a par 4 for over 20 minutes . Beside that great.
Overvalued local muni in not great condition
Had a fine time playing the course but the conditions were not great. Half the greens were burnt and the fairways were rarely kept in condition. Fine staff and amenities but not worth the price
Pace of play poor
Two specific issues
1. Waiting on every shot is not my idea of good golf
2. The greens were sort of bumpy
Nice course
I enjoyed playing this course from the blue tees. Came across this course and figured I’d give it a shot. Staff was friendly and the course was in good shape. I’d play it again.
Deceptively challenging
Low yardage course that forces you to be extremely precise. Proved to be quite the challenge for my group but that isn’t saying a lot. Guy at the pro shop was great especially considering everything going on. Some of the tee boxes were in pretty rough shape as well as some of the fairways. Found a lot of the course to be extremely hard and shots were bouncing and rolling all over, extremely unforgiving. We played the twilight rates which seemed worth the price but I’m not sure I would have paid some of the earlier rates. Would probably come back though at the rate we played, hopefully we have improved by then...
