Ocean Resorts Golf Club
About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

STAY AWAY VACATIONERS!!$
Coming from an Upstate NY golfer that can only play 6-7 months out of the year. This course is ATROCIOUS. The tee boxes are burnt out. The faiways (if you want to call them that) are nothing but dirt......and the worst part is the greens that are pure sand. What s joke! Worst $45 I’ve ever spent!!!
Greens under repair
This could be a good course but the greens were damaged severely. Especially on the back9. Staff provided discounts however
Waste of Money/Time
Was told before playing the “back 9 greens were really fast”
There were no back 9 greens. It was scorched earth. Highway robbery for the price.
8 greens were unplayable due to having no grass at all on the green
Course was in the worst shape of any that I’ve ever played. Only two greens that you could call greens number 17 and 18. They would be overcharging to play this course if they gave it away for free
like the layout
no water in containers which should be on the course especially in this hot weather, but have ball cleaners which makes no sense , as everybody that cleans their ball must grab the knob which in this day with the corona virus going around is unsanitary. A person can use a tee to push the water cooler button and never touch the cooler.
This course COULD be excellent.
Overall the course is in good condition. Many of the greens are absolutely horrible! In just 3 weeks the greens have deteriorated to horrible conditions, with some greens having no grass at all, just hard packed dirt. You cannot putt on many of the greens because of the conditions.
The fairways are in good shape, the tee boxes could use some attention.
I certainly hope management will do whatever is necessary to repair the greens. I am a member and play with a group 2-3 times a week.
Where are the greens?
Greens are lost. Couldn’t stop a ball or putt. Should have been labeled browns
Great all around course!
The course has a great mixture of both tight and open fairways with just a right amount of dog legs to add some more interesting effects to your game. We play all of our tournaments there. We'll continue going.
Back 9 Greens in poor shape
Usually play here every summer, and the course is good condition and not too difficult. This time, back 9 greens were unplayable. Wouldn’t recommend to play until another month or two.
greens on the back nine were terrible. almost no grass looked like concrete played that way too.
Browns
Greens were brown. Hard as a rock. No grass on 5 of 18 greens. For the price and they way we were treated at the clubhouse. Appalling.
Sandy greens
Before we teed off we ask the head pro about the condition of the greens and he responded th as t they lost 3 due to the heat but actually at least 7 hokes on the back nine were completely covered with sand worst greens I've ever played on and Golfnow should have warned us therefore I'm going to ask them for a full refund.
Horrible greens
I honestly feel like I was robbed of a good round of golf. The only things enjoyable about the round of golf here was the three I was grouped with. Tees - good, fairways - good, greens - absolutely the worst I've played on. I'm having a really hard time remembering the good greens. Hole 18 and maybe 2-3 other at best. More than two thirds were not puttable. Trying to load images. Not able to right now.
Great Place
The main guy was super nice. The course was well maintained. Everyone was friendly. Would definitely play there again when on vacation
Tony
This is the worst golf course in the greater Ocean City, MD-Delaware Coast area. They show green pictures but half of the greens had ZERO grass. You could not even tell where about 6 of the greens were on the tee boxes. If you are a decent golfer-this course shape will just flat out make you mad. Worst value price out of any courses. This course is not worth $20 with a cart. I have pictures of at least half of the greens totally burnt out. Layout not bad but the course is in crappy shape. Go to any other course but this one. You will regret it from the immediate horrible first impression you get when you pull in-you will know you made a mistake. I have golfed every course in the greater OC area and this is clearly the worst!!!!! Minor leagues! Waste of time and money!!!!
Seaview Stay & Play Golf Package
Not sure why we have ball cleaners and no water in containers these hot days. The ball cleaners are more disease carriers than a water cooler. A person can push the button with a tee and get water without ever touching the cooler, but to clean a ball a person has to grab the knobl
