About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Overpriced for conditions
Played many times because it's still reasonable compared to other courses in the area...but it's worth it to pay a bit more. This course is always in bad shape with terrible greens. Place is poorly cut and maintained.
Family Outing
Very nice atmoshere enjoyable pace. Will return and recommend to others.
Good practice
Not the longest course, but offers some narrow fairways that requires you to hit all your clubs. If you're looking for manicured fairways and greens then play Lighthouse or Bayside for $100 more. Ocean Resorts is a good value at $35 or less.

Course was improved from last year but still needs work
Not well managed
They had an event going on which caused us to have to play the front 9 twice. Should have blocked out some t-times Tocqueville accommodate the league/tournament the year had happening. Glad I got it for $33 the course is not worth $50. Fairways are average, greens were slow due to Justin plugging them. Not a course I would go back to.

Overpriced
Not a bad course overall but VERY overpriced considering all the competition in the area. It is a good practice course. For$52 there are better values around especially if you are local.
Tough to review it since the course was closed when we arrived
Tough to review it since the course was closed when we arrived. Received verification from golf now in the morning verifying our reservation. Got to the course and found everything locked up likely due to water from overnight rain. Would’ve been nice to get another email that told us the course was closed. Other local courses were open and we played elsewhere .
Always a good choice
Always able to get a time. Have to play every club. It is best to not use the driver on the tight holes. Greens were just sanded and were slow.
Ocean Resorts
When I first looked at Ocean Resorts I thought it was going to be a wide open golf course. Well that was true for the front 9 but the back 9 ended up having a lot of trees and several challenging holes to deal with. It's good to have course knowledge but understanding your yardage and hitting accurate drives to enable you to have other shots was imperative. I liked Ocean Resorts a lot and I would recommend it to others.
Good Value
Played this course on a cool April morning. It was in decent shape for this time of year, not crowded, but very challenging for me. Numerous blind shots and several “hidden” water hazards. Very reasonable price, staff was very welcoming. I will play it again the next time I am in the area.
Great course! More challenging than expected!
Really enjoyed the course. Staff was really pleasant and helpful. Got us out on time and with no issues. The course was beautiful for early April and there was plenty of wildlife all over. From deer to herons to frogs, this course was hopping. The greens sped up a bit as the dew dried and the whole course was more challenging than we expected. But that was a good thing and we were pleasantly surprised. Overall, I can’t wait to go back and score lower than today’s round. It was my first time playing this year and first time playing the course, so I didn’t do as well as I normally shoot. I highly recommend the course!
Enjoying Golf
If just getting out to play a round of golf and enjoy it, this is the course for you. The rates are excellent, the staff is friendly, and the course is friendly for all levels of play. If you want to plat a hundred dollar course just so you can tell everyone you were there then do it. If you want to have some fun, plat for a lot less money then come to Oceans Resort. You will not be sorry.
