Scottsdale Silverado Golf Club - Silver Pony Course

Great shape we played 4 courses that week paying more most of the time this was the best of the four by far.

Course was great and friendly staff. Almost got hit twice with tight holes with not many trees. A lot of people watching on the adjacent hike/bike trail. Course was in great shape but I’m sure we over paid a little considering the weekend of the WMPO.

Great layout in my opinion. Slow play (4 hours 30 mins). Staff was awesome! Greens were just okay but rolling well, little patchy in places. Playing on the WM Open weekend jacked the prices up. Decently satisfied with the course.

Played 4 courses in the last week. Delighted to see that fairways, rough and greens here are watered. Greens seemed to fast everywhere this time of year since it’s 150 days since it rained.

I’d play again!

Cost me and my wife almost $400. Since we spent a week playing in cold weather and mediocre courses, I decided to splurge for our last round here, and weather was beautiful. Great course. Great staff. Was it worth $400? I don't think so. Won't do that again.

It's expensive to golf in PHX in the Winter, so this 1:00 tee time was a good value. Pace of play on the front was slow, but it moved very quickly on the back 9. Front 9 layout was a little boring on several holes, but back 9 was fun and had a lot of different looks. Greens were fairly fast and challenging to read, which I like. Overall, an enjoyable round.

The course is in good condition for the time of year. Pace was a little slow, probably because they stack a little heavy and let you go earlier than scheduled.
