About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Day Outing
Unfortunately the greens are still in very poor condition. It will take a month for them to grow through
Course is dry and needs water asap
No Grass on Fairways
We have never seen this course in such bad condition. Tha fairways were not over seeded and consisted of dried out burmuda grass.
The greens were very thin and uneven in grass coverage.
The layout is pleasant ant fun but the current conditions make it not worth the money.
Conditions of the green
Conditions of the greens were terrible. Staff to check this in was very rude
Day Outing
The overall course is nice , however the greens have been sanded and were very bumpy.
Fairways were dry but I believe they will start to water them in the near future.
This is absolutely SAD!
Saddlebrooke Ranch used to be one of our favorite tracks. We haven't been able to play in over a year, so we were very excited to get back on the course and play. What a mistake! The condition of the course was absolutely appalling! Fairways are dead, with bare patches. Greens are bumpy, filled with a weed-like plant and bare spots. It was so sad what they've done to this course. It was so bad we quit after nine holes. Play this course at your own risk.
Course needs an update
I think the course needs to redo the greens or figure out how to fix them. T boxes were marginal some cases putting T markers in the middle of gravel which made no sense as there were other areas to put the markers. The layout is OK if the course was in a little better condition.
Ok but a long way from good
First complaint is tee times being to close together -7 minutes I think. I understand trying to get as many bodies playing to increase income but we waited on every shot 5-10 minutes. And of course no ranger to be seen. Best thing about it is price. I would pay a little more and spread the tee times a few minutes. Just my opinion

everything about the course is very good. Everything about the staff is poor. Definitely not customer friendly.
Greens in poor shape
Greens are in poor condition. Pitted and spotty. Don’t expect a good roll on any of them. Pace of play was good but don’t know how long it will be until the greens come back. Too much money for the conditions of the course.
