About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Wow, poor condition!
Some greens and most fairways are in the worst shape I have ever seen.
Slow. Bad greens
I love playing Saddlebrooke Ranch but today we were behind 2 slow groups with several holes open in front of them. Ranger even laughed about how slow they were but wouldn't do anything about it.
Greens are getting worse by the day. Bumpy. Dead spots.
Not What It Used To Be...
I really wanted to be positive but the course conditions just don't allow it. Fairways were not overseeded this winter and the greens are horrible. The back nine greens are almost unplayable. They need to be torn up and redone. I have no idea what happened to this course but if I was a member I would be extremely irate. Someone needs to be fired!
Beautiful views and quiet
Nicely laid out for an easier day of golf. Expected conditions for winter with dry grass fertilized with spray. Greens were a bit rough with acne type appearance in spots
Good, Fair Course
Overall, the Ranch is a fair, nice layout. The greens are in playable but rough condition..most are bumpy and chewed up. Never had a long, smooth putt throughout the 18 holes. A as ll-in-all, you can’t go wrong. Fun, quick round.
Saddlebrooke ranch
Most of the fairways are not overseeded but the biggest issue are the greens. They are in terrible condition. Very bumpy. Some greens have areas of no grass. The greens were painted to cover up the dirt areas
The course is in terrible shape.
I was excited to play this course for the first time, unfortunately, I was beyond disappointed. The starter was really unfriendly and didn’t seem to want to help me when I wasn’t notified about the frost delay. I was then asked to pay a n “observation fee” so my 9-year old could ride along with me, ridiculous! I wasn’t informed about the fee when I booked my tee time. The course was beyond awful as the greens were full of grass patches and sand in some areas, there wasn’t a single green that wasn’t bumpy. The fairways had no grass and were more like concrete painted with green paint. They were very hard to hit off of and to top it, we had to keep the carts on the path even though there was no grass to ruin. Overall I was disappointed with my first and probably only experience at Saddlebrook Ranch.
Course is in horrible condition!
Fairways in terrible condition and dyed green. Except for the two you can see from the main road. And the greens simply just need to be replaced. Most of them are beyond repair.
