About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Great pace of play
4th time I have played this course this year. Great value and course is set up to allow under 4 hour pace of play.. Summer is here and the course is browning out and fairways are tight. Greens are very large so practice your lag putts before teeing off.
No cart girl but an outstanding grill and brews clubhouse across the street.
Can't wait to go back.
Family Golf
We play this coarse many times and right now the coarse is in great shape even after the greens have been plugged and sanded.
Cooler at the Ranch
When golf is too HOT in Tucson, we always play the SB Ranch as it is cooler.
Used to be a lot better...
Despite being well into June we continue to see prime time spring rates. The fairways have all been excessively scalped and absent the start of the Monsoon they are overwatering to try and revcover the growth they mowed into oblivion. Soggy, muddy fairways do not play well.
The greens have recently been aerated and are horribly slow and bumpy - no warning of these conditions on the Golf Now site like they used to post {What's up with that GN?}
Pace of play was awesome being the first Tee time {0700} of the day. No services are available on the course. No Marshalls are to be found, no drinks or snacks are available and if you have a problem {we did not} you are on your own.
Hopefully this course will get it together and recover the level of a quality golf experience they used to have but for now, not so much... sigh.

Good waffle iron greens!
The greens were punched the past few days and are sanded well. They will be great again when they fill in.
Played with a very nice couple from California. Charlene and Hal were good golfers and nice to talk with!
Finished our round in 3hr 25min.
Excellent Value
Great bargain. Greens in terrific condition, fairways thin but to be expected in June. Always windy in afternoons this time of year so play in am if want to avoid breezy conditions

Enjoyable day of golf! Never been disappointed with this course!
Great course
Great course. Spread out. Well taken care of. Last 3 out of 4 times no food/drink cart. Could use a beverage when playing like other courses. Overall fun course though. A little over priced but it's close to home.
Very nice course
The course is well laid out and very enjoyable. One of my regular spots and is well worth the twilight prices.
Great course and conditions
My only complaint is that there is no beverage cart. We went to the bar in the restaurant and the only have bottles that you aren't allowed to take onto the course. Apparently cans of beer are hard to come by up there.
The course was in great shape and we had a good time.
Windy at the Ranch
Afternoon was beautiful, pleasant temp but 20 mph wind. Course in good shape compared to last year. Good weekender course as fairways mostly fore giving.
