beautiful place, terrible greens

Very high end facility with 3 9s. Instructional facility is top notch. But the greens, just awful. It was bad enough I will never go back.

Decent but dangerous layout

I played this course on Saturday, the course layout is the issue at this course especially on the traditions course. I played with another golfer I was paired with and we were almost hit with random balls from other tee boxes numerous times. Also we had a group that included an adult and 3 teenagers hitting into us on purpose, one ball hit my cart while I was in the middle of the fairway. The first hole on the Heritage course was unplayable, there was standing water in the fairway and near the green. My ball landed in the water and I couldn’t retrieve it. The course had positives, it was in good condition, tee boxes were flat and freshly cut, greens were decent, fairways other than the hole discussed above were in good condition. My round took 4.5 hours so pace of play is just average. Another positive is the driving range, overall a 3 out of 5

Careless golfers

Course was in pretty good condition. The club should purchase ball mark repair tools and hand them to every golfer and ask that they use them. How hard is it to fix your mark?

Fun course. It’s in decent shape. Greens still looked punched from a few months back and are very slow. Worth the weekday prices but not worth $80+ on the weekend.

Great layout and good condition

Course was laid out beautifully, we played legacy and heritage, both very wonderful dealership, Greens had some ball marks and irregularities but ball seems to be rolling well,, of course there some work on it to fix it, but the speed of ball still very decent, I would definitely recommend to anybody, it’s a great course compared to a lot of other public courses in that area, In my opinion this public course it is well-maintained. Service of staff at desk and beer cart was excellent.

Good course

Course was in generally good condition. Work being done to improve a few tee boxes. Several green side bunkers filled with water.

Nice Tracks

The course has three Nines so get some variety if you play here often. The general condition is good, although it could be nicer if the player would fix their pitch marks on the green. Pace of play was okay. I have played here before and it can be slow.

Course was fine! Difficult very hilly. Only a150 yard marker on some holes! No water stations and and the concession was closed at the turn.

Crowded and dirt bunkers

Like the layout and the greens. Did not like the pace of play and the dirt bunkers. This course is always crowded and slow paced.

Back Still Hurts

One word: chiropractor. You'll need one. Riding down the Grand Canyon would be more comfortable than cart paths at Heritage. If you know someone with scoliosis, take them here, they will be cured. Felt like I was riding around on the moon.

Layout was ok, but too jumbled up, and the greens...oh my, felt like I was putting on 1970's shag carpet.

Expected more

To be fair, it was raining off on all morning. This surely impacted playing conditions; however, course marshals could have helped speed up pace of play. There were family foursomez acting as if they had the course to themselves. They were incomsiderately slow.

The tee boxes are in need of care. They were patches and uneven.

The greens were just rolled that morning so they looked good.

Only cold sandwiches are available,. No hot food is offered.

On the plus side, the beverage cart was out and stocked with beer. They only offered tequila or vodka shots but that's ok.

Excellent Deal

I love Heritage! The course is in good shape. The only thing stopping it from being in perfect shape is that the Greens appeared to be recently punched. Other then that the course is excellent, cant wait to get back out there.

Bunkers need attention. It’s like hitting off of a cart path.

Other than that, fairways and greens were in good condition.

Range doesn’t open until 11 FYI and the halfway house is closed for early tee times.

Bring water and snacks!
