Heritage Golf Links - Tradition Nine

Greens were in terrible shape. Covered in unfixed pitch marks and blanket soft/soggy but no rain. Had to move my ball almost every green to find a line of decent grass.

Fairways were riddled with weeds and patches of dead grass. Not as problematic as the greens but for the cost you expect to play on decent fairway quality.

Pace of play was behemothly slow. At one point we had 3 groups waiting on the previous green as we waited to tee off on 17.

This course was decent. For the cost I had higher expectations and noticed the tee boxes were in bad shape. The staff was super friendly and welcoming which made it a great experience. The course itself is gorgeous and has amazing views. Most of the other players were friendly though I had a group who got confused about my group starting the back 9 before they and questioning if we were on the right course.

If you’re looking for a place with a great practice facility look no further. Layout is great, but unfortunately the greens on course have been so heavily trafficked and abused it is difficult to recommend this course for anything else.

It’s insane how much green fees are, but what are they going to? The greens are abysmal. They’re on par with those of a muni. No water on the course at all either. Never again.

Greens are borderline unplayable. Needs a complete overhaul. But one of the cooler pieces of property in Atlanta Area. Worth checking out, but pick up your ball at the greens and just move on.

For a very busy afternoon the pace of play was pretty darn good.

Played this course many times but not in the last few years. Sorry to say that bunkers and most tee boxes were in horrible shape. Most bunkers were unplayable due to lack of sand and most bunkers are down to the irrigation system. Tee boxes were also in poor shape with zero grass in some of them. Fairways were in good shape. Greens, always the trademark of this course, this time they were in tough shape. Pace of play was great for a Monday afternoon. Marshall’s were present and pleasant. Course needs an infusion of cash to repair the bunkers, greens, and tee boxes. This is a Fantastic track if they can get a good golf maintenance person.

I concur with previous reviews, the bunkers need an overhaul, packed red clay basically. Greens, dang folks don't like repairing ball marks! Our pace of play was fine, but was raining before we tee'd off, so that probably helped. 8f they sort out the bunkers and greens it would 5 stars. Also ..range Mats are like hitting off concrete!!!

palid legacy to Heritage. this has always been a terrific layout, but the greens and traps are a disgrace, the traps are ungroomed and I lost 2 balls in the muddy water at the bottom of traps. they haven't been serviced in months and are eroding, the place was packed so I dont' expect them to do anything about it but I am not playing there again.

Course layout and topography are great. Bunkers and many of the greens need attention! Several greens made for some rough putting…

Was pretty wet from rain the night before, so greens were a little slow. Bunkers could use some work. Overall it’s a great course, well designed and really fun.
