Heritage Golf Links - Tradition Nine

It was a pretty day in Winter, so it was VERY crowded. A lot of waiting, but the course and greens were in fantastic shape. Course layout is great. Will definitely be playing again. Would have given 5 stars if pace of play were better managed.

I played on this course on a very crowded Saturday. The pro shop staff were meh. One individual was very curt and the other was too disinterested to care. It’s worth noting I received a cart key; however, there were no more available carts.

I enjoyed the practice facilities, which are perfectly positioned and appropriately maintained.

The starters were slow, but more attentive and slightly more friendly than the pro shop guys. Tee boxes are average and fairways were decent. The greens are fair, but the pin locations were laughable on some holes. I can tell the greenskeeper has a sense of humor.

Pace of play was abysmal on this Saturday with no marshall in sight at any point. After 11 holes in 3.5 hours, I retired from the round.

At least the layout was fun and views weren’t bad. I see the potential, so I would give this course and staff another shot (eventually).

I've played here probably 30 times over the past fifteen years and have always been challenged. My 3 random golf buddies(named above) kept things interesting.. shot 43 on the front and was encouraged, but blew up on a couple of holes on the back to finish with 49 for my "usual" 92..

"That all changes this year! " (said most every golfer in the world)

Teed off at 1:30 PM as a two-some and got slotted between a bunch of foursomes so pace was a lot worse than expected. We only got to play through 16, and were on track for a 4:15-4:30 round (not horrible but slightly unexpected for a Wednesday afternoon).

Course is in good conditions, but some greens are just filled with un-repaired pitch marks

4.5-5 hour round every time. They have no idea how booking works.

Wow what a great course. Played a round in 3 hours 20 minutes on a Friday morning.

Never played before and was very impressed. Bring your A game as its greens are very challenging, course elevation changes make every shot something to make you hit a really good shot. Course was in very nice shape - golfers need to fix their ballmarks though.

Will be back soon and will play better with some knowledge of the course. Great find, can’t wait to play again.

Love the layout and different challenge the course presents. Greens roll well but have way too many divots from the amount of play. Bunkers like most places I’ve played need work but would still go back for the challenge the course offers.

Greens were in pretty bad shape, no one repairs ball marks and it doesn’t look like the greens staff bother either. Lots of blind shots including a few off the tee where you can’t see the preceding group. It did play fast. Overall the staff was excellent and the range / practice area is pretty good.

We never saw a starter or Marshall. Maybe we were supposed to start on another course. Pace of play was very slow but upkeep and greens were great

Typically always in good shape. The issues here come from the course jamming in tee times much to close together and no one to enforce a decent pace of play. Group in front of us were averaging 20-25 minutes per hole. 4 players, 2 sets of clubs. How was that missed? Likely wont play here again.

Wow, the course lived up to the billing! The greens are beautiful, tough as #311 but beautiful. Never knew the course existed and hidden away in Tucker. I’ve found my new home course

Overall, the course was well maintained in this time of the year. The pace of play was little bit slow. The greens were firm. The ball rolled nicely. The one thing I did not like was I was a single player, and the starter was trying to put me in the group 30 minutes ahead of my tee time. Then he forced me to ride a cart with someone I do not know. That did not happen, he was trying. Other than that, the layout of the course was great - the fairways were still in good shape and the greens were firm but rolled nicely.
