Heritage Golf Links - Tradition Nine

Very well designed course. Tons of raised greens in good condition. Punishing water and sand features if you try and go too long. Played early early Friday morning and had no issues with pace of play. Starter was very nice about letting us start early with a group of 3. Grill wasn't open when we made the turn at 9am but no big deal.

Only complaint was that the Heritage course had hard clay bunkers with shale pebbles mixed in. Who likes that?

The golf course consists of 3-9 holes courses, Heritage, Tradition and Legacy. This was my first time playing Legacy and it was Legit! The course is a challenge yet manageable. Legacy is very well maintained but Tradition could use a little TLC...not much but the other 2 are better.

I play here regularly and the conditions have improved. There are a few tee boxes where the grass is still sparse, the greens could be a bit quicker (and smoother if more golfers fixed their divots), and some bunkers need rebuilt, but they are almost all playable and better than they were 4-6 weeks ago. That may not be the case a day or two after heavy rains, but that warning applies to most courses. You have to play here early or it will be a long, slow round. The course plays longer and is more challenging than many realize, so they head to the Blue tees and then can't reach most Par 4s in two shots which slows everyone down.

HAVEN'T played in a few years due to weekend slow.pace of play. Course is in great shape, the layout is challenging and the greens were full, smooth albeit incredibly slow. Great value,, played for $29 on a Friday.

The course was in great shape with the exception of about 4 of the tee boxes. I will say that I tee'd off really early (7:45am) so pace of play was great for us. However, we did see quite a bit of backup happening behind us and as we made the turn. The greens were in great shape and they have a good driving range and a nice practice area too. I will definitely return to play again.

All in all the course is in great shape, with one exception, the bunkers. Most bunkers are absent of sand and in horrible shape. If you end up in one chances are that you will be hitting off of red clay as hard as concrete. At this price point (north of 80$ on the weekend) this is completely unacceptable!!!

Poor course management. Trying to shove too many people in too short of time. Were already backed up at 7:50. Rangers not paying attention.

Course was in great shape, except for a few of the tee boxes were pretty chewed up. I had a 7AM tee time and finished before 11:30. Will definitely play again.

Early twilight rate $40 was appropriate greens were nice but many pitch marks because many golfers don’t fix them. Sloped fairways are rough for beginners but I would play this course again. Starter could be a little more intuitive. Had many groups waiting to tee off on legacy or which ever instead of sending them to the other course, just across the path, heritage which had no one waiting. Instead of a group asking if they can start on the other 9, the starter should intuitively offer or tell a group to tee off on the other holes. By the time we decided to ask and the starter said yes, two groups pulled up to the other holes so we had to wait for 2 groups to tee off ahead of us either way but if when we first approached, he had mentioned we could start on the other holes, we obviously would have taken the offer since no one was on the hole for ten minutes.

Course was in great condition - played Legacy/ Heritage- all but one tee box was in great condition- greens roiled true. fairways were very nice!

Will play again next time in town.
