Course was in good condition. Need water bottles for each cart. Food was good. Staff friendly. Tee box 5 legacy needs flattening.
COVID fail
i have played Heritage multiple times under multiple management. The course was "over built" to have one if not the highest slope ratings in the state. Many of the features are not natural and punish good golf. I am a legitimate 8.4 hdcp and just don''t enjoy playing this course. I shot an 83 and most of my strokes lost were due to putting across elephant back greens.
However, that is NOT why I am writing such a low review. I have been practicing social distancing. Myself and my playing partner both have "at risk" family members at home. We asked about riding in separate carts and were told the only option was for one of us to walk. They cared more about revenue than they did for public safety or the safety of their guests.
As i stated above, I already don't particularly like this course, but due to the complete lack of caring for public safety and public health, I will no longer go to Heritage. If you value your health and that of others and want a place that shares your values to allow you to properly social distance, DO NOT play Heritage.
Could’ve been 5 stars
Course and driving range we’re both very nice. Only issue was that the people in the clubhouse seemed more interested in answering the phones than attending to the people right in front of them in the clubhouse
Great twilight value
Played a twilight round. Course was in great shape. Greens are challenging. Will definitely play here again.
Great Course & Staff
This is my ‘home’ course and is a great place to play & practice.
Pace of play was awful
Horrible pace of play. Took almost 3 hours to play 9. Left after 9 because there were 3 groups waiting when we made the turn. Seems like they overbook and don’t care about making people wait. Fun course with potential but was disappointed.
This is a GREAT course.
Played this course with my son. We are both around 15 handicapers. Course is tight in a lot of spots and you have to pay attention to what you are going to hit. It is not just driver on most holes. Water, Sand, narrow, undulating greens. One pa 3 was playing 216 yards with sand in front and back :)
Only issue I had was the grass around the greens was very packed down. Like hitting on dirt (not dirt, just matted down).
I would play this course anytime I could. Loved it.
Absolute Trash!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP
didn’t even have enough golf carts for a threesome. Absolute joke of a course. Management is complete trash. I will never in my life come back to this course. Had to tee of 1 hr late because no carts. I can’t stress this enough stay far away
These guys are lost
This course has potential to be a nice course, and there are some really good holes, but I've never played here without some shenanigans happening before teeing off.
There are never enough carts, the front nine will always take at least 2.5+ hours to play, and the flags can be put in places that just make zero sense. Booked online one time and they sent an email saying that none of the tee times were processed online, so they were just going to fit everyone in using tee times 5 minutes apart. Had to fight for a refund because "it's GolfNow that messed up, not us"... well aren't you still getting twice the payments by squeezing everyone in?
Anyway, I like the course itself, but the people running this place are just lost and don't care about the golfer experience. Let them figure it out before you give them your hard earned money.
Heritage offers a solid challenge!
We enjoyed our outing at Heritage today. Staff members were observing social distancing and Covid-19 protocol. Starter was outstanding this AM. Tee boxes were pretty rough but that was my only criticism of the course. This track has a pretty severe slope rating so newcomers of newbie golfers take note. Most approach shots are from a downhill or uphill lie. Once you play the course a few times you’ll get to know your spots. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back!
Great Place To Golf
I've played at Heritage Golf Links a few times now. The staff are fantastic, the course is in great condition. The golfers are very respective and patient. Love This Course.
The bunkers are horrible!!!
I play often at Heritage as it is close to my house and really enjoy the layout of the Legacy and Heritage nines, but the bunkers are simply horrible. Most have little to no sand and those that do have one inch of sand here and five inches there, so you have no idea what your shot will do. In addition, most bunkers have so many stones in the sand that you risk ruining a club if you do attempt the shot. This year has been unusually wet which has contributed to their poor conditions, but these situations have existed for the three years I have been playing here regularly. If there were fewer bunkers, but they were in better condition, it would make a world of difference.
The staff is good, especially the Starters - Jerry, Geoff, and Ron who are great! They always make me smile.
No good service
Most of golf course give golfer cart per person. Because of social distance corona.
If 4 people golfer needs 4 carts.but this course gave only 2 carts. They said " 2 people have to work,if you need more cart you have to pay extra charge" it's a non comonsense.
Because we arleady paid green fee and cart fee.
I don't know whoose idea!!!
Wow Extra charge!!!!
You are good business and more make money!!!!because of corona!!!
It is very no good....
Not worth $75
Greens in decent shape but that’s it. Tee boxes, fairways and rough are in terrible shape. Bunkers completely gone and washed out. Course layout is hilly and tight. A few memorable/note worthy holes, the rest tend to run together. Green contours are a bit bizarre. $40 course tops. Certainly not double that.
