The Lakes Course at Firewheel is a links-style course that is loaded with water, and was a Dick Phelps creation on his return to Garland in 1987. Hole 7 is the most difficult–a long 549-yard par 5 that requires an approach over a pond.
Getting there : From Dallas, take Hwy. 75 north and exit Arapaho. Turn right and when you come to N. Garland Ave., turn left. Drive to W. Blackburn Rd. and turn west. The course is just down the road.

Enjoyed the course. it started out a little chilly, but warmed up nicely.
Fairways and greens were in very good condition. I personally have played better, but the course was not to blame.

Easy Sunday Morning
What a great day. After battling through the hot Texas summer it was nice to finally have a chance to tee off when with the temperature in the low 70s. Overall just a great round of golf and a fun time spent outside.

Best Value in Dallas
Best value in Dallas area. Courses have always been in good condition and 3 courses all at a great price w/ cart included. Facilities aren’t great, No clubhouse but I like the courses.
