About
The original Squaw Valley course, Apache Links, opened in 1992–a Jeff Brauer design that is open on the front and more densely wooded on the back. Brauer’s work involved bringing in dirt to provide some mounding to the flat terrain, and he placed the course along a scenic creek that comes into play, mostly on the back.
No. 9 is the best hole on the front because of its split fairway. Macho men can go for the green by aiming over the lake–otherwise it plays a pedestrian 362 yards if you choose the left side, where it doglegs around the lake.
On the back, Nos. 15 and 16 are back-to-back par 4s that you’ll be glad to get out of the way. The 15th rolls 462 yards and doglegs right, requiring a tee shot over the creek. The long approach is especially challenging due to the long row of trees at the corner of the green. Hole 16 features an elevated green above Squaw Creek. Play for position off the tee because the hole is not long.

Worth the trip!!!
Great layout and pace of play. Staff is very friendly. Great practice facility.
Great Course
This course and there staff, is always one of the best around. So friendly. The course is always in top notch shape. They give out free bottle water that is always iced down. I would recommend this course to anyone. Hands down one of the best around.
Rough & greens really good
I thought that the grass in the fairway should have been a little longer but with the resent rains it would be hard to maintain fairways without a 90 degree or cart path only rule in play.
Glen Rose Jewel
I love this course! We might just retire in Glen Rose to make it our home course. The conditions are consistently excellent and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Every year, since its inception, I have played in the Inferno 36 and, even though it is usually very hot (thus the name Inferno), we have the best time! I highly recommend this course to anyone.

This was a wonderful round of golf
This course was in great shape. It had rained quite a bit the night before but the course played well. The greens were in really good shape considering we are in winter. I enjoyed playing the course and will definitely go back.
Great Place to Play 36
This is one of our favorite courses in the DFW area. Course is always in great shape, and both courses are very different, creating different challenges and looks. (one is a links style, one is traditional) They have a good practice facility (chipping, range and putting greens), pace of play is always great, as is the staff...everyone can enjoy this course...
Great Course!
I've passed this course a hundreds times befire today. I regret not stopping at it before. It a true hidden escape. Played the Links course with my kid. The fairway were in Good condition and the greens were fast. The staff were great!

Was nice having bottled water at first tee and 10 tees the fairways were I. Great shape and the greens were too I played the Lakes course today but could see the other one and it looked in great condition Staff is always friendly

My wife and I had a great time playing this enjoyable course. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful, people on course were nice as well. First time we have played here, but we will definitely be back soon.

The course was in great shape, greens were soft but very fast.

Worth the drive
My new favorite course. It’s an hour from my house but it’s worth the drive. Loved both courses greens and fairways were perfect. Friendly staff and free bottled water on the course I can’t ask for much more
