Clear Creek Golf Course

This is the worst I have seen this course in a very long time. They have completely lost the greens to invasive grass and are not doing a thing about it. The marshal doesn't do his job to enforce pace of play, so get ready for a 5+ hour round.

The worst greens I’ve ever seen. The round took over 5 hours.

Greens are currently too stubbly with invasive grass for reasonable play. I don't plan on booking here again until they're in better shape.

I used to play Clear Creek almost on a weekly basis till I moved too far away. Today one of my golf leagues held an event at Clear Creek. Horrible is too kind of a word to describe the greens. They were full of poa annum. I uploaded a pic of probably the best green on the course. The rest were much worse.

To make matters worse, the fairways are like concrete.

Bunkers were full of loose sand and the tee boxes looked great. Too bad the rest of the course is almost unplayable.

I payed thru the tournament so did not pay course directly. But the course charging full price for their product is a travesty.

Stay away....far far away.

Pace of Play is always an issue here. To many bad golfers playing from the wrong tees is just the beginning. Like Manolo says, "suck faster! " and everyone will be happier.

Besides the pace, the greens are in rough shape. Very bumpy and impossible to keep the ball on line.

For a course normally known for excellent greens, a slight disappointment. The greens had very little grass in them making putting an adventure

Green needs maintenance, weed grows crazy on green, make the ball slow and bumpy and change ball direction all over the place.

After all the rain, course was still playable, just don’t hit into large water puddles. Only complaint was the bumpy greens due to quarter size grass on the greens. Surprise it was off cartpath!

Oh, sand traps were really in great shape!!

Usually there is a starter but maybe non available in he afternoon.

The course is in pretty good shape. You’ll find worse for sure and you can find better, but not sure if you can find better for same price. Greens didn’t always look good, but they putted great- smooth and comfortably quick. I like the layout with a lot of character. Staff was very friendly.

On a cold blustery day the course played well even for winter greens which were rolled out tight which a tap looks like Kong putted the ball. Overall the course is in great shape hopefully this will be in Spring as well
