About
Situated on what used to be farmland and later used for shellrock mining, Osprey Point Golf Club is hardly recognizable from its former landscape. The Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County took the abandoned land in South County Regional Park that was completely overgrown and turned it into Florida's first Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. To achieve this designation, the department instituted several environmental protection practices, increased the acres of natural habitat, and converted to more environmentally friendly grass on the tees, greens, and fairways. The golf course offers 27 holes that are played in three different combinations. The Falcon/Raven Course is one of the combinations. It has a rolling landscape that is enhanced by native vegetation and a playable quality thanks to five sets of tees.

Great layout and condition...best public course in Sofia. No amenities or GPS but very nice course..no abutting houses or apts. Nice!
Fantastic Value for Your Money
Fantastic Value for your money. The only downside about this course is it does take about 4:15 - 4:30 to get in your round.
Nice Layout
Course was in excellent shape. Complex is huge and they have tee times and golfers organized. 3 nines gives the course some diverse conditions. Didn't use any of the restaurant/bar so I could not rate those. Greens were fast but consistent. I would come back.
We hope that you do come back and we would encourage you to check out the restaurant/bar next time as there are some exciting changes on the horizon there. That's all we can say for now. Thank you for the excellent review.
Great Courses-Mixed Reviews on Pro Shop Staff
We were directed.to play Hawk Course first and since we were paired with a couple who were very slow, poor players, we only played 8 w/them and reached only three add’l holes @the Raven Course - my husband loved the course, we enjoyed the layout and challenges presented-then, I discovered my favorite straw hat was lost! The. Rey next day: The guys in the cart barn, the starter group were great when I returned to search for my lost item; however, the staff @the Pro Shop were most unfriendly-our experience was nevertheless positive-Marty, Dick, and several others were gentlemen and welcoming-we will return notwithstanding our tee time was delayed due to slow play...
First and foremost, we hope you found your favorite straw hat. Secondly, thank you for coming out to play and for taking the time to leave a review. We do get rather busy during the winter months, so if you're looking for a speedy round we may suggest 9 holes early morning. Hope to see you strolling the fairways in your straw hat soon!
Great Course, Slow Play
Beautiful fairways. Challenging but fair layout. Greens a bit chewed up. Very slow play. Rangers told us they are instructed not to enforce pace of play.
We're sorry to hear that you didn't fully enjoy your round with us. Our rangers have a tough job as we are a very busy golf course and we can assure you that they have all been instructed to help keep pace close to the four-hour mark. Best public course
Best public course, you're not going to find a better course then this anywhere in south Florida that is a public course. Well worth it

Windy day in Boca
This course is a huge winner for me!! Practice facilities are awesome. Range, bunker, pitching , putting and chipping are all there. Starters are stationed on the practice area to get people out when they are ready. Golf course is is tremendous. No homes or roads close just lush golf course. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all A+. Keep ur ball in play and you can score. Blue boxes our choice today and it was all we could handle in the wind. Only down side to this course is it only has a snack bar outdoors. No bar or dining room. But who’ cares. The course is the champion

Beautifully landscaped course. Greens and fairways are pristine
Our paspalum grass really pops this time of year. That coupled with the Everglades settings makes you forget that you're even in a populated area at all. We appreciate the five-star review.
