unbeatable price

The course was not in the best of shapes. Greens were average with the back nine being in better shape. Great value for players who don't require the best courses because they play only 1 or 2 times a year. Anytime on the course will be fun and we had fun playing here.

Got the hot deal, so 17$ to run an okay course was worth. Wouldn't pay full price after the fact.

Played a quick pace 2-3 hours for 18 for 2 of us. The holes are almost all straight and very short holes. The course doesn't have a real cart path. The greens were medicore. They were cut nicely, but the grass was not "green" grass it was like a short fairway. It was17$, so I was not bothered. I wouldn't pay more than 20 bucks to play at this course after finding out how it was set up. Golf is enjoyable either way, but during peak hours this place would get you fairly ticked off if your an avid golfer. The staff was very friendly and the golf carts were in good shape.

Worth the money, because its inexpensive.

This is the least expensive golf course near the outer banks. Its about 10 minutes over the bridge. It was very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, it wasn't bad, but there was little impressive about it. There was absolutely no cart vendors or ranger presence. Extremely slow can go unregulated.

Great experience!

From the second I walked into the pro shop the staff was very friendly. They were ready for my arrival and explained where everything was.

The course was well maintained and they were watering the greens before and after play. It was a very nice value for the dollar. I will play there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others!

Good value

Greens were well maintained, fairways and tee boxes had a few rough areas. Rained during our round and the course did not fully drain. Cart paths are not paved or graveled throughout. Great value at the golfnow rate.

Nice Greens...alot of water...fairways are like a cow pasture.

At first I thought this place looks like a dump. We paid for the round on golf now. If we had paid the full price i would have felt like we got the shaft but we only paid 12 bucks so it was ok. The best thing about this course would be the condition of the greens, the worst is the condition of the fairways or is it the grave yard on #9? not sure...either way, if your visiting Duck,Kitty Hawk or Nags Head Holly Ridge isnt a bad choice if you visit golf now first! just dont pay the rack rate.

not worth the price

I have played a lot of golf. And this was the worse course I have ever played. Fairways were ant infested when you could tell where they where, hardly any grass, and the greens where almost unplayable. Not worth the money

small, Descent Greens, but everything else was BAD!

Too expensive unless you get it for like 13 bucks off of golfnow, they usually charge 29.00 WAY overpriced. Ride a couple miles down and play the point for a much better experience.

Best Course I've Ever Played

the Legends Course was so much fun for my father and I to play on vacation. We got a great deal because the greens were recently aerated but the fairways & rough were pristine. Lost a lot of balls in the woods but worth every penny for the challenge and the chance to play with my dad.
