Holly Ridge Golf Course

Course was in good shape. Only downside to the course were the firm and abnormally small greens.

I will pay better attention to reviews before booking another course like this!

Personnel were great, extremely friendly. Carts are new and very nice. Range was very good. However, the course itself leaves much to be desired. The greens are small, uncut,,bumpy and Sandy. Worst greens I have ever played. Course is very short, yardages on scorecards not even close on most holes. Rough and fairways were cut the same length. Hole #9 & #18 end fat from the clubhouse and no drinks available on the course. Pace of play very slow Huge power poles and lines run all across the course. For $60 I expected much better. Will not play here again. Pay the big bucks if you want to play the OBX.

If you enjoy playing a course where the greens have giant divots and craters of sand in them, this is your calling. Wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone, especially not for $60. The best part of my round was leaving the parking lot.

Course is listed on Golfnow and had no previous warning of aeration before arriving to the course on day of play. Come to find out the back nine was closed due to aeration and front nine greens were all sand filled and had multiple tire tracks per green. Course was in awful condition and not worth $54 at all. Would not recommend to anyone who plays golf.

Front 9 greens were recently aerated and the back 9 are being done now. Coarse is short and player friendly. We had a good time and the club house is nice.

When we showed up we were told that we could only play the back 9 do to the front being closed. Was offered to play just nine but we ended up playing the back 9 twice since my administration fees included 18.

Title explains it all…easiest track I’ve ever played. Next stop putt putt and that may actually be more difficult. Still had tons of fun

Holly Ridge was one of my best golfing experiences I have ever had. I put together a golf tournament at Holly Ridge and the staff was absolutely amazing. The staff took care of any needs that our group needed and let us relax and have fun. The course itself was in outstanding shape, the greens were rolling pure and the fairways were cut perfectly. Great amenities as well for a good time after the round. If you ever need help setting up an outing, make sure to ask for Nick, he's the man!

Cheap is it’s main appeal. Might be a good place to take a new golfer as the holes are short and many of them are pretty wide open. The greens are horrible. Slowest I’ve ever played and extremely bumpy.

Great place to play a relaxing 18 away from the hectic beach courses people are always great
