Playgolf Abbey Moor

This is not a prestigious course by any means, but they never pretend to be. If you want to get out and get some practice in while sneaking in 9, then this is a great option. The course is fair, and not overly complicated. I’ve enjoyed it several times, and good value for the amount you pay.

I have played here twice now and will be going back again and again.

The course is well laid out, great holes, fairways are in great condition, but the greens.. AWESOME..

I initially played here because it was cheap and I wanted somewhere to practice, but I've kept going back due to the superb condition of the course.

First of all it's great value (I've played 18 holes for as little as £13)

And despite it being a 9-hole with an un-fancy clubhouse the greens and tee-boxes are always in great condition and appear to be watered regularly.

It's also trickier than it seems, but you won't spend hours looking for your ball.

Trees, water and decent t-boxes and greens in good nick - great value for £15!

Had a beautiful day to try the course for the first time. It did not disappoint. Great condition and some testing holes. I will be back.

A lovely little 9 hole .. perfect hour and a half on a proper course

Nicely maintained and good value

We played at 8am on Sunday, the course was all but empty at this time so we were round in 90 minutes. Relatively easy course but enjoyable for a quick 9.

Generally in exceptional condition for time of year but let down by the bunkers which badly need more sand in them, they are completely compacted with minimal sand before you come to solid earth.
