Awful

Unplayable rock hard greens and a course what they have shoe horned into making it a 18 hole course

Ardencote

As I high handicapper (27) I found this to be the perfect course to help improve my game. It’s a shorter course than most and apart from 2-3 holes it doesn’t severely punish those inevitable slices and hooks. Very reasonably priced I will definitely be going back

Great short course.

Great course. Pancake flat. A real pleasure to play. A lot of thinking needed to get round. Short but not easy.

Wet conditions

Some very tricky holes. Holes 6 & 9 over water are really beautiful holes. Fairways were very wet but still playable. Greens very small. Could not play directly at green. Ball won’t still very small hard greens. Most greens are raise and could not bump and run to the greens. There was a 5 ball going round which was annoying the members. Definitely play again when dry

Flat and open to elements. Wind is a big factor around the course. Was surprised to find the tee box for the 9th was a range pad. Course doesn’t drain very well so boggy in the rough. Fairways were good condition but still boggy at times. The course has new trees around which at this point offer more a frustration to get a swing than a challenge to get around, over or under. Greens play well with subtle undulations and bunkers are well built. I would like to play here again in a few years to let the course mature slightly.

Good value for money

Played Ardencote yesterday and it’ was decent value for money! Course condition was fantastic, staff were very friendly on arrival and made sure we got ahead of a four ball and tee’d over early. Some fantastic par 3s over water, lots of par 4 where you need drive straight and long. For the money it’s great value!

Ver flat, very easy

Very flat course, seems quite new with young trees lining the fairways. There's a lot of par 3s, 2 of which very pretty over water. Other than that a very, very short course, flat fairwaysand small greens. That said, well maintained, friendly staff and not busy on a Saturday so a good practice course.
