Our local course. Great deals nearly always available. Fairways excellent and good to play this course. No mud in sight. Bunkers never waterlogged. Great value for money!
Enjoyable round
Weather fantastic and as a two-ball we got away on time and maintained a fast pace of play. One green was very dry and had some uneven surface patches but overall the course doesn’t seem to have long-term effects from the hot weather.
Value for money..that’s it
Golf shop closed. Have witnessed this many times when visiting the hotel.
Course is very flat and not very long. Only a couple of holes make you think about what club to use. Greens are small and need a bit more TLC around the fringes. The recent dry weather will be a reason for this.
A decent course for a beginner.
Sunday heat
Avery hot, dry day with great conditions - tees were rock hard - unable to use some tees as they bent but otherwise- very good . Unlike the last time we played and it rained all day and to top it off, while on one Green, the sprinklers came on!!
Course OK but needs more care.
If you happy to play a course which needs more tlc then this is for you. For a price of £12 for 18 holes it's OK and there are some testing holes. However overall I wouldn't recommend it as the greens at hard, the fairways are similar and the tees are poor. If you are staying at the hotel and it's free then why not otherwise look for somewhere with a little more refinement, I think you'll agree with my comments if you do play it.
A lovely course.
Nice golf course. Greens, bunkers and fairways all in great condition. I play here frequently and can highly recommend it. The course is quite flat so not too tiring while still remaining very interesting with a nice variation of different holes.
