Ashley Wood Golf Club

Really like this course, great layout , stunning views, only negative was 4 members, older gentlemen in front very very slow, we were a 2 ball and we were waiting on every tee until the 10th when they let us play through, apart from that another great day and great value with my golf pass credits!!

All in all a challenging track. Shame about the state of the temporary tees, but didn’t detract from the experience too much.

Layout means you can generally ‘grip it & rip it’, but suspect really hard when the winds up.

Would definitely recommend & play again…

Considering this was mid December and many courses were waterlogged with holes closed, Ashley Wood was in excellent condition with not even one temporary green or temporary hole in use. All fairways were playable and bunkers were well maintained. A few of the greens had been battered by pitch marks but most of them were still playing true.

Once again an absolute pleasure to play Ashley Wood. Course in superb condition for December

I loved playing this course. Great conditions for late November, almost like turning the clock back to late September or October. Hopefully will go back again soon. Well worth the 75 minute drive each way

Really enjoyed my first visit to Ashley Wood. Everyone was really friendly and the course was in superb condition, more like early October conditions rather than late November and hardly any dead leaves laying around to lose any balls in, which can be a bane this time of year. Will be keen to go back again notwithstanding it's about a 90 minute drive each way for me

Great golf course in brilliant condition. Might look like you can blast it around but being in the fairway is a must and in the right position too. A good test. The greens were also in exceptional condition

Really enjoyed playing. Staff were excellent and even phoned to say that the greens were being worked on and gave the option to move the tee time. Good challenge to the course and excellent condition.

This was the third time I have played the course and the first time I've played it in good weather.

Just such a lovely track. Great variation, challenging every element of the game with immaculate greens to boot!

Brilliant course in a stunning setting.

This is the second time I have played the course. The first of which was Winter 2019 when almost all other courses were closed in the area.

The course is in stunning condition, despite playing in constant rain this afternoon.

Only down side was my own swing, otherwise it doesn't get much better!

Good course some challenging holes, greens as always very good,

The greens were in a very good condition, best I’ve played on this year. The fairways were good and kept well. Interesting 10 to 13 holes as they are sort under by woods. You go from an open course to this wood section then back to open. Thoroughly enjoyed the round

My brother and I have just returned from our first round at The Ashley Wood golf club.

We were given a very warm welcome by the Club pro and then we were overwhelmed by the quality of the fairways and greens. They were in superb condition.

The views of the Dorset countryside are stunning..

We will definitely return.
